Trying to set up a HT system. Still trying to decide on a receiver. Picked up a set of Floor standing JBL  speakers JBL ES80.

 

Looking for a center speaker. Do I need to look for ONLY for  a JBL? Is there any specification I should look for so that  center speaker match with JBL ES80?

 

 

Any recommendations for a center speakers?

 

Without a sub woofer, will this set up be good?

Your front speakers (center / left / right) should be of the same brand and series in order to timbre match and provide the same front soundstage. In your case, I believe the matching center to your the JBL ES80 towers would be the JBL ES25C (http://www.jblsoundgallery.com/ES25C.html#).

I saw this JBL speakers for $99 in FRY's electronics. Specs is the same as the other JBLEs25C mentioned.  This one should be compatible with my floor speakers?

btw is this good one?

Sub doesn't have to be the same brand/series and you can go any direction you'd like, just make sure to match the C / L / R speakers.

Check out the below, it's a hell of a deal for $109 out the door including shipping and it is favored very well among lots of folks on the forum for it's price point. IMO, it will do better than the ES150. I actually have the 15" big brother to this one and love it (for the price I paid).

My opinion is timbre matching is a myth unless your Front LR are made from cloth and center's made from paper. Furthermore, check out this thread and save yourself some money:
