Hi,

I posted this is the subwoofer forum, but I didnt get any response. Maybe I am in the wrong forum or asking the wrong question.

But if anyone can point me in the right direction, it will be helpful.

I recently Bought a pair of Kef Fivetwo Series model7 speakers from NewEgg.  I also got a Denon X1000 Receiver.

The Kef speakers have a Frequency response 100Hz - 30kHz.

I am confused on what Sub I need to buy for this. I ran out of Budget and so cannot buy an expensive Sub. I am considering between a Polk Audio PSW10  (100W , 35 to 200Hz)  Vs a used Klipsch Sub 10 Powered Subwoofer (200W , 28 to 120Hz).

I am a newbie and am not really sure what would be my best choice.  If there is some other option that you recommend, please feel free to suggest

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

G

I would go with the Klipsch as long as it is in good working condition.

So the upper limit frequency of 120Hz would work fine with my Kef (100 to 30Khz)? If so what do you recommend the crossover should be set to?

Thanks

Start with 100hz, move up to 120 hz if it doesn't sound right.
