What model Danley speakers did you get? I'm still new to them and trying to see which ones would be the best fit for my HT setup.

that sounds about right. You sold an entire room of discerning high end HT enthusiasts in a couple of demos! Really interesting design and I am sure the new offering will be very good. It is interesting that the same basic design principles for outdoors to focus energy where it needs to be heard is also paying dividends indoors sinse less room interaction is also a big plus with pattern control. Even on my Noesis the patern control on the mid/high is very noticeable and pointing them correctly makes a big difference on the impulse response at the listening positions. The Danley must be even more and that is why I suspect people were saying the sound at the back of the room was so good. It was one of the first comments I also made on AVS about the Noesis vs the T12, the sound at the back of the room was much better. Makes sense...duh, but until you experience it you can't fully appreciate the effect.

Pre-Pro: Emotiva UMC-1, DSP: Mini DSP 2x4 balanced
Amplifier: Sunfire TGA7400, Lab Gruppen FP10000Q
Speakers: JTR Noesis 212HT (LCR), JTR Slant 8's (surrounds), 3 Orbit Shifter LFU's
Sources: PS3, HTPC, Dish Network
Projector: Epson 8350
Screen: Seymour XD AT 138" diagonal 16:9

That would be a very cool...I would love to see to see Danley's RDT&E facilities.

That has been on my agenda for quite some time - I'm definitely planning on going to visit Mr. Beast again later this summer sometime and will make the trek down when we do that.

Danley trip + Fox bros BBQ in Atlanta + Sweetwater 420 + another demo at beast's place = unbeatable trip.

Edit - S*** throw in some waffle house too.

John - FYI - Justin and I are trying to plan a time where he will bring the SH50's over to my place sometime soon for a mini-GTG.

Now that will be a GTG I won't miss. I'd love to hear the Danley speakers. Not sure when I'll get around to finishing the basement in the new home but come fall it will be a priority. I'm thinking an AT screen and new speakers.

You had me until Waffle Slop got thrown into the mix...

If you take yourself too seriously expect me to do the exact opposite

No, this time it is all about the introduction to Bojangles. That will be the breakfast stop that will change your life right there. No waffle "Laht" this go-round.

Oh, we DESTROYED some bojangles on Sunday on the way out of your house. Got those blueberry biscuits as well as some assorted breakfast sandwiches. Delicious, but I'm pretty sure I zapped a good 3 months out of my lifespan.

I grabbed a half dozen of Boberry muffins in Tennesse on the way out myself with a couple of sausage biscuits. They were a bit to salty for me, but the Boberry muffins were on time!

Why not take a syringe and inject the grease directly into your veins?

I didn't have a chance to read every review, but did anyone write any comparison between the Tempests and the other 5 speakers?

This looked like an awesome event, I would love to go to something like this.
