There are so many choices and I am confused, I like someone to point me to the right direction of excellent small speakers for watching movie most of the time in a 15x20 room, as small as possible without sacrifice sound quality and a small sub to go with it, budget can be up to 1k for everything more less, thanks in advance....

I would look to go above the cube speaker - look at the
Focal Sib

You get a bigger woofer - and the Sib speakers will play down lower in the bass -
to get some punch from the satellites - and to help better blend with a sub. >>
Plus, the Sib sats will have more radiation range, for sound dispersion and can
handle some power.

The Cambridge sats are -3dB at 168 Hz, and -6dB point at 143 Hz.

Now, take note of this price

So, what about the SVS PB1000 to pair up with the Sib? or the Cub3 is actually better?

SVS will be the better sub - the Sib is $199 a pair at AC4L
