Are the prices on both systems the same?

the Infinity PS212 sub is much better than the Jamo 210. You're talking a 12" sub vs a 8" sub.

You can buy the s60 center on Ebay if you choose to go with the second setup. You'll want the matching center instead of the JBL.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jamo-S62CEN-S-62-CEN-Center-Channel-Brand-New-in-BLK-/390735731837?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item5af9aa1c7d

I actually have the s60 center and two s602 surrounds at home if you're looking to expand to a 7.1 setup. They're black with the charcoal grey front baffle.

thanks afrogt..option B gonna cost me extra few but that is not a problem..problem is my room size..see,the polk is very good for music even for movie but jbl satellite is not upto my expectation(missing the vocal)..but the current 8inch jbl sub is way too good for me..
only for vocal I'm considering the jbl es25c but afraid it may not be a proper match with the rest of the jamo 4 speakers..
btw my current set up is 7.1 (FHR & FHR)but i enjoy mostly 5.1 as those satellite jbl can't perform well..
so what u think??

The Jamo speakers are not going to be an upgrade.

Keep your front speakers. Stick with Polk.

My advice is to get the Polk PSW505 subwoofer for $250 and the Polk Tsi 100 speakers for surround use for $150, and the Polk TSx 150 center speaker for $200.

Your current "subwoofer" hardly qualifies as a real subwoofer; little puppies don't woof.

thanks but i already listened jamo n those sounded great both in music and movie although the showroom used denon receiver..
polk is really great so far my tsi 300 is giving me a very warm sound(stereo mode) for music but not as good for movie while i use 5.1 or 7.1
may be its the receiver..pioneer with polk is producing good sound for me only on music but pioneer+polk+jbl(acs 200.5) for movie is really suck, sounds like hollow..mad.gifmad.gif

Whats the center channel are you using? If you are a movie freak might want to look at the Polk CS20 or CS10. Then take the money you save and put it to a high dollar subwoofer like the SVS PB-1000.

Matching center channel and a quality subwoofer will really help your system. Since you already like the sound of the polks just add to them and get the subwoofer I suggested you will loves movies after that.

Jamo's wouldn't be an upgrade just a sideways move.

Matching center for the tsi300's and a quality subwoofer is all you need.

TSi's aren't known for being warm, more on the brighter side of sound. I am thinking something might be up with your receiver's EQ

thanks crazyrob425 n guessed it right..with the MACCA setting tsi is not so good but if u tweak the setting manually its gives nice sound..
currently I'm using the jbl center which came along the jbl 5.1 scs 200.5 speaker package..the woofer is too boomy thus have to keep it always below half-way..
actually the deal is i will change my current speakers with either option A or B only to improve the movie experience..
but as per your advise it seems won't take me ahead..rolleyes.gifrolleyes.gif

Well out of the A or B choices I would choose A HOWEVER to simply improve your movie experience out of the box(which is what you are trying to do) Get a Polk CS10 or CS20. I guarantee it will be a cheaper choice than either A or B and it will improve you Home Theater experience.

75-80% of TV/Movie audio comes out of the Center Channel speaker. And by not using the matching center speaker you are killing yourself.

If you want a better subwoofer but than the JBL for less money look at the Bic F12 or Bic PL200:cool:

you really make it easy for me..option A than..polk center and surround is not available at the showroom thus going for the whole jamo package..jamo,infinity and wharfedale sub is only available..that why asked about jamo 210 and infinity ps212..i know infinity is way big but I'm not trying to improve the quantity rather quality..my room size is moderate so i just can't get big loud speaker say 300/500 watts per channel..
btw I'm searching net but can't get the answer so can you feed me some info??
if you spend more you will get more sound and bigger speaker but is there a way you spend more just to improve sound quality not sound louder??
i mean in the store if i ask for an upgrade they show big n bigger speaker which just increase the loudness..
say if i switch from tsi 300 to tsi 500 only thing seems to me change is 150Watts/channel to 275Watts/channel but I just wanna spent to make more accurate and crispy and clear that 150Watts/channel..
i know its a stupid question but hope you can make me understand that easy again..cool.gifcool.gif

So there is no way you can purchase a matching center online?
http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Center-Channel-Speaker/dp/B0018QNYSK
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107CS10B/Polk-Audio-TSi-CS10-Black.html?tp=189&awkw=25135402705&awat=pla&awnw=g&awcr=6453701905&awdv=c
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CS10-TSi-Series-CHERRY-Center-Speaker-from-Polk-Audio-/360825984995?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item5402e797e3
If they are available online your store should beable to find them. They are trying to get you into another speaker set cause it makes them more money. Personally if a store was going to do that too me I wouldn't give them any of my business

And for surrounds you can easily find Polk TSi100's or Polk Monitor 30's or 35b's, again online.

By only shopping of what that store has to offer you are getting ripped off majorly.

Larger speaker might be louder but not by much. Adding an external amp it would improve the audio quality and loudness slightly (but if you were going to purchase that amp from the store you are going to be throwing away money.) However your amp doesn't have pre-outs so you need to by a new AVR

sorry to say but online purchase is not an option..im actually looking for a package and jamo comes in bundle..only thing i want to add a powerful center for movie purpose..
the jbl es25c is more powerful but it is a 8ohm whereas jamo s60cen has 6ohm(like the rest of the speakers)..so do u think the jbl will improve the dialog or should i just stick with the whole jamo??

Are you located in the USA or in another country?

But between you too choices the only one I can recommend to you is Option A. You want and should only use the matching center channel. (A sales man won't emphasize this point if it means they can make more money)

If you have any thought of using the JBL center than get JBL main speakers.

really appreciated your efforts..

nope i am from bangladesh..actually online purchase is ok but u know the distance is the major problem..few months ago i purchased a spoiler fro my car from usa,it was $980 but freight and other charges was nearly $700..mad.gifmad.gif more than that without warranty and replacement ect ect..thus i prefer local purchase for the sake of warranty by paying twice or triple..rolleyes.gif:roll eyes:

exactly the reason I'm writing here is expert and honest opinion from you guys..see the store person is telling me it won't be a problem to get the jbl center with jamo setup..
today i went to the store again and said the jamo will not be an upgrade rather its a sideway (like you said) so show me something really good which will make a dramatic improvement not just a marginal difference..they gave me two option again MARTIN LOGAN (motion 40,motion 30,motion 15,infinity ps212) and DALI (concept 8,zenzor 1, zenzor vocal, infinity ps212)..
when i said my pioneer vsx 1021k might not be perfect match for morton logan they it will be perfect..
i was thinking if i gonna spend i should really go for an upgrade not a sideways but problem is i don't wanna change the avr its really good..
so can you please advice..ML motion 40 is 300watts where the pioneer will output 130 watts per channel..so will i get optimum result with this avr??do you ML will be good choice for a 180 sqf room??

btw all those speakers i mention - martin logan and dali is made in china but jamo is made in denmark(does it really matter cause my iphone is also china made,lol)..

First off just cause a speaker says it can handle 300watts doesn't mean you need 300 watts to use it. WIth 50watts to it, it will get plenty loud.

Secondly the Pioneer is probably putting out 60watts x 5 with all channel driving. Not the 130 they claim. But it should have plenty of power for your room.

Choose what sounds best to your ears than purchase that system. Both the ML's and Dali's are respect brands so I am sure you can't go wrong with either

time for update..went for martin logan and it performed well while i was listening music but when i tried movie with all 5channels then i was shocked..the arv was denon x4000, which could not make enough sound(ml is 4ohm but said to be ok with 6,8ohm which wasn't) then tired with pioneer lx82..sound improved but not as much as i though would be..mad.gifmad.gif
frustrated but tired b&w cm8..liked it very much from the first sound it produced..demoed with both avr and denon gave better sound(although is has less muscle power then lx82,lol)..
thus now got the cm8 and denon and placed order for cmc,cm1 and svs pv1000..
thought about cmc2 but didn't go for it for the sake of my room size although my primary use will be movie n movies..

thanks all u guys for those advises..
