Audio equipment:

Sony STR DG520

Pioneer Andrew Jones 5.0 (FS52 towers Left/Right, CP22 center, old model FS51 towers rear)

BIC F12

Fatty PS3

The room (huge, stupid open concept, walls are mostly drywall, floor is laminate/wood except for the rug)

I have zero WAF for mounting anything to the wall, and no space for setting something to the side of the LP/couch. It seems that the towers pretty much have to go approximately where I have them placed. Exactly where should I try placing them and where should I point them? I currently have no SPL meter, no REW, no AVR program to set things up, nothing. Though I do hopefully plan to get a Denon X1000 (Audyessey) before too long...hopefully. (and an upgraded sub would be nice too...)

So...pointing forward? Angled in? How far from the couch? They are pretty bottled up back there. :(
