Only trouble I am having is taking the 5 minute m2ts files I have and trimming them to 2-3 minutes or so. I thought it worked with my other software but it didn't. I don't want to have to ff or rw.

Does someone know which software can trim m2ts files with lossless audio. Still want dtshdma quality

The DAC in the Oppo 103 is better than the DAC in the Pioneer -97db vs -102db noise.
The DAC in the UMC-200 is better than the Oppo 103, -102db vs -118db noise.
(To the best of my knowledge at least.)

The DAC in the Oppo 105 and the output stage of the XSP-1 i brought over was like -133db noise.

20V output with no distortion... no Kill like OVERKILL!
It really is too bad that I (probably) won't be making it to this event!

What ever you choose, just remember to bring your remote(s) this time! LOL

I'd bet a 20 that doublewing11 will "cry" or be too "afraid" to go any louder before the quad UXL-18's reach FULL TILT! j/k (...or am I? )

^^^ This. Times 4! (The LMS or UXL at FULL TILT!)

I have a feeling you're just projecting your jealousy of not attending this GTG!

It really is too bad it would be such a long drive for you too come, it would of been nice to meet in person.
Yeah, I'd like to come but 8-9 hr drive is not on my wish list. Love your area, but I have a full plate on my hands. Trying to get my room done is one thing but now my wife has me staining 450 linear ft of Cedar fencing..........told her pay to have someone do it........her response, "Why? You have a sprayer......so we can so it ourselves."

Would be great to meet everyone.......and I could even break out my Canuck jokes a you hoser!

Seriously, hope you guys have a great time.......and someone PLEASE breakout the Country music or at least play Tosca in it's entirety!

Picked up the 1099's today for transport to the GTG, but of course have to listen right now! Blow me away! Yes, even the wife says "those are better than ours". Great detail, soundstage and bass. Tux wanted me to break them in more so we spent over 2 hours playing my reference tracks. The wife even got me up dancing, she was really swinging in the groove, although she just got back from the Vancouver Island Musicfest. That had something to do with it I'm sure.

I created a google site for the gtg. Here it is
https://sites.google.com/site/joesgtg/

all the clips are their. Those that can't make it will know exactly what were listening too. Put up some pics too.

Just caught this. No no no. Tony has terrible ears. They're pretty bad.

Gotta keep the anticipation down...

Thanks again for picking those up. I'm gonna have a full car load with the other speakers and my family. We'll be spending the night in Vancouver and then going to the aquarium on Sunday. Very much looking forward to a weekend away from home.

And seriously though, everyone is gonna think these are some kind of magical speakers the way fatshaft talks about them I hope people keep their expectations reasonable

Thanks for all this Donny. I wouldn't have a clue. I'm technologically inept. I can barely figure out iTunes and I get frustrated when my CD player doesn't turn on quick enough

I would suggest using that one you had talked to me about earlier that was a simply one with only 3-4 things to grade on. Maybe leave a little space for someone to write comments about each speaker too. I've seen that in some of the other GTG threads.

I can't get anything on the google drive, even after signing in. I click go to drive and I get that window blank. Weird. Just tried again, now I need owner to okay my access.

This is what it says -
Want in? Ask the owner for access, or switch to an account with permission.

Beer + LN2

For the weak

Beer + Dice

We might need something with a lower freezing point.
Try Grey Goose

What will be powering the speakers, and will it have a speakon or banana end on the wire?

We have my Sherbourn PA 7-350 amp to power all of the speakers, and it's just standard banana plugs.
Which puts out around 800watts @ 4ohms per channel when used with just LCR's.
