I agree with that totally. If you go back and read some of these threads (even this one) when a new person asks about this topic or when someone else brings it up. Its usually not broke down in that detail like that. Its basically a black and white that if you have a sub you should buy a bookshelf because a floor stander is a waste. For a new person he might take that and think the pioneer bookshelf would be just as good as a higher end big tower by those black and white statements. Plus what is a bookshelf to that person. For some its any speaker that does not have a low end section (or only goes down to something like 70hz). For others (new people) it might be just like the name says a speaker that fits on a bookshelf. I don't think to many new people would call a JTR Triple 8 at 26.5″x12.25″x14″, and 75lbs a bookshelf biggrin.gif. But i personally see your point and agree with it.
