Receiver I'd be using: Onkyo TX-NR626

I say only Polk because I'd be getting a huge discount if I went with them.

I currently have:

Yamaha V473

TSx440t (Bi-Amped)

TSx250c

TSx110b

But I just got the Onkyo TX-NR626 and decided I should have a second surround set up.

Are the LSi M series significantly better than the RTI A series?

Wish I could demo them.  We have the RTI's, TSi, and TSx series at work but no LSI.

The LSiM is their flagship (high-end) line.

However, go with the RTi line

Yeah basically I could either get the RTIs for the price of TSxs or LSI Ms for the price of RTIs

I'll refrain from posting actual prices I could get these for.

I would prefer the best that I could get - even if it is the LSiM speakers

Do you currently have a subwoofer?

I would get a subwoofer before you go to 7.0 set-up. What you currently have is a 5.0 setup(0.1 = One subwoofer)

An internet direct subwoofer would offer you a better performing subwoofer too.

But me thinks you work as best buy and get a huge discount. biggrin.gif Even with that I would rather see ya leave with a internet direct subwoofer in the 500-600 range

Currently I have some very old JVC sub I got from a second hand store and a little 8 inch Yamaha, If I were to upgrade the sub I'd probably go with something like a PSW10 or PSW125

Maybe I should save up a bit and get the LSiM 705s and then build a system around those slowly.

Nah, I don't work at Best Buy, but similar occupation.

Do not waste time and money on the PSW10 or PSW125 subs.

x2

The SVS-PB1000 is another option.

Start with a subwoofer than upgrade the speakers.

Alright I see there is a lot of great ID subs on the market I'll look into those.

But just for the sake of knowledge which subwoofer by Polk is their best.

One of their better ones would be the DSW Pro 660
