Hi,

I'm upgrading my very old home cinema, please help

Pioneer sc lx87 (new)
Chord Sarsen Speaker Cable (new)
Pioneer bdp lx55 (new)
B&W DS3 (old but will keep for now)
B&W 603 S2 (replacing now with CM10s)
B&W HTM7 (replacing with CMC2)

My question is replacing the S2s with the CM10s, would that be a good choice? Would it be a greater improvement?
The same with centre, would the CMC2 out perform my old HTM7, would the CMC2 work better along with the CM10s, or should I keep just keep the HTM7?

Any help would greatly be appreciated, cheers.

Have patience! These are forums, not chat rooms. And you are asking for very specific recommendations, it will take some time until someone who had heard your speaker choices happens along.

Let your own ears decide. You are intimately familiar with your current system, so judging if the new speakers will be a cost-effective improvement is something only you can decide. Get an in-home demo, or, if that is not possible, go to a B&M and listen with your choice of media. While you are there, you may want to listen to products from other speaker manufacturers to see if there is a speaker you may like better than B&W. There are a LOT of good speakers out there.

Folks here can give you their opinions, but you are the one spending the money and will have to live with the results. Do the legwork .. you won't be sorry you did.
