I'm installing a set of PSB CW160R speakers for a surround sound system and according to the owner's manual I should add polyfill to the ends of the boxes to reduce resonance effects off the corners and edges of the boxes. I am wondering, since the volume of my speaker enclosures in the ceiling is about 20% less than what they recommend, if it would be beneficial to fill the enclosures completely with polyfill to increase their effective volume. Thoughts?
