Sub $100 in ceiling speakers

I am building a house soon, and want to do in ceiling speakers in our living room for surround sound.

I would like sub $100 each. I see the Infinity ERS110DT are on sale for $80

Polk RC60i. Excellent.

Got two pair (at different times) on sale from Frys for $80/pair. Very versatile mount, clean-looking flush grille.

Like the 6034 or the 4619? I like the thought of the 7605 but worry they would be a bit to big.

All the reviews seem to bash the low end. Which isn't a terrible thing because I'll use a sub, but I am wondering if the INfinity ERS110DT would be better? There on sale for $80 each. Or the Polk MC60

I am also considering increasing my budget a bit and going with 3 Boston Acoustics up front, and a pair of the Monoprice speakers for the back...

What are your thoughts? I wish there was a local place I could audition them.

Someone did a test of the Monoprice vs the Polk vs Micca Reference series and found that the Micca speakers really came out way ahead. I'm curious to try a pair myself. Luckily I just bought 4 (lightly used) Definitive Tech DI8R's for $75 each earlier today. =)

I am in the same situation as you looking for a reasonably priced inwall/ceiling speakers for HT/living room.
I am leaning towards the BIC Acoustech. 75 approximately for each. The specs on these are pretty impressive as well as the reviews. Any something to consider. I also have talked myself into placing the front R/L and center in wall as opposed to the ceiling. I plan on using this BIC for those 3 speakers http://www.bicamerica.com/showpage.p...pe=9&spkrID=27 .

Hi. Forgot to mention they were lightly used and not new. Ebay.
That said, there's a seller named bajawaverunner that sells refurb ones for $129 each. Still a damn good deal if you ask me.

Ok, I talked with an audio installer who does mostly commercial, but does some residential on the side. He said the Monoprice speakers are actually really nice. At $45 per pair, what are all your thoughts. Would I notice a big difference in quality between those and the Boston Acoustics HSi 460
