I got a infinity setup pc 351 and p 163 for fronts and a pair of p163 comming next week. And i got denon x2000 with 7.1 setup. I got 14 and half feet wide and 16 feet across and opening to the kitchen and 8 feet height. Now the p363 is on sale on amazon for $109 and i need advice if the p163 fronts and surrounds are already good enough base on the size of my living room or should i buy that p363. I need advice in terms of spending wisely and getting what should i ONLY need. Btw im still getting the svs pb2000 in like a week or two. So im thinking if i need to buy it or save my money for the sub. Need advice and opinions pls.

Btw. My total cost for a pair of p363 and the shipping is
$295

Ps i spent $80 on pair of these bookshelf stand and im building my tv riser right now for my center. Sry for multi topic post.

EDIT: this is my diy tv riser cost my less than $10 the paint is still wet so i cant put it up yet.

Questions - what is the problem with the current system? Since you are planning on buying another pair of bookshelf speakers (for the rear?) can you just spend another $100 for the tower speakers instead and move the current bookshelf speakers to the rear?

Front tower speakers will give you system more impact and will have higher SPL capabilities than the smaller bookshelf speakers. By the way, that is a great sub and should make a huge difference with most soundtracks.

Some suggestions:

1. You should move the front bookshelf speakers to the front edge of the stands
2. The center should be just below the TV, can you put the TV on top of the center? The other option would be to get a raised TV mount or a "monitor shelf" to put the TV on and the center speaker underneath

2-Ch (HT L/R): Oppo BDP-105 BD, Adcom GFP-750 pre, Bryston 10B Sub Xover, Bryston 4BSST2 / Paradigm Signature S4 v.2 (L/R), (2) SVS SB12-NSD (Subs)
Home Theater: Bryston 4BSST2 amp / Paradigm CC-590 (C), Outlaw 7700 amp / (4) Def Tech UIW-RSSII (LS/RS/LB/RB), Samsung 46” 3D LCD

Well i like how the p 163 sounded when i watched rise of empire last night and their dialogue are clear and crisp. And the thing is i already place an order for used p 163 and they be coming this week. Once it comes itll give me 5.1 setup including the sub. But will the 7.1 be good for my living room? The p 363 will cost me almost $300 including the shipment here to Guam.

I would say the p363 are well worth if if you are expanding out to a surround sound system. The mids on the p363 are a high point in the Primus series. And that is an excellent price for those speakers, so now is a great time to buy to upgrade your system.

I like the speaker stands. Any blue prints on how to make them? I would also recommend the P363.

My parents have a 5.1 set up of the previous version of infinities, and they sound awesome. I went from a 7.2 set up to a better 5.1 set up...I should say to better speakers and sub, and the sound difference was night and day.

I would go with towers for your mains like somebody else said, but if you like the bookshelf better that's all that matters. MW2 those were the days, spent over 36 days in game days on that game

Thanks my dad helped me made it costed me about $80 for both and
I still have 4 feet 4x4 wood leftover( maybe for my rears for the future). Anywyas its just half inch thick plywood about 3x3 feet size from an old drawer that had been disassembled and i cut it 1x1 feet for the foot and 8 inch by 10 inch on base and 8 feet 4x4s which costed me $15 on home depot( cut 2 24 inch or depends on what u prefer.) then $8 for the woood paint i got the mahogany color and a wood finish( honey walnut color) which is $8 also. For the bottom of the 4x4 i bought the edge trimmed wood 2 feet this is like $12. And for the base i bought a wood trim design for about 20. Sorry im bad on instruction but you get the idea.

Yeah my stepson loves that game anyways im debating if svs pb2000 + p163 would have huge difference between svs pb2000 + p 363 despite svs. I agree p 363 is more aesthetically better compared to p 163s.

Edit: ok guys i decidedto no get the p 363 because im happy with my p 163 also with svs pb2000 i know this setup will most like have or at least same setup with p 363 and svs pb 2000. Ill just save my money for svs pb 2000

Putting the money toward a better sub is the right decision imo. That will make way more of a difference than switching the bookshelves for towers. Enjoy!

With your TV riser, you should have the front 3 speakers at nearly the same height which is ideal - and that SVS sub will make your bookshelf speakers sound much better. Post a new picture when you get your riser installed - and tell us how much better is sounds.
