$170/ea? Aren't they almost always on sale at Fry's, etc for $99? Still a good price. These speakers definitely aren't bad for that price at all

Not everyone in the USA has a Fry's electronics near them so this deal is amazing

This is a good deal, but not sure that it is a better deal than when you can find the AJ Pioneer phase 2 speakers on sale.

They can both be smoking-hot deals. Main differences are with the Infinity's you get a few more options with 2 different centers to choose from and three different surrounds. But...those options are also a bit more expensive. The 363's are also a larger speaker. The AJ's I've seen in the stores are pretty small for towers...which can be a good thing (even a great thing) fir a small room/apartment.

Either way, they're both smoking-hot deals at those prices.

When talking about just prices then it's a better deal than the Pioneer AJs (% difference of street vs. sale prices). Better deal based on sound quality is subjective so there is no definitive answer. I have access to the Pioneer AJs at employees prices and will still buy the Infinity P363 on sale over the deal on the Pioneer AJs. I'm not saying that the AJs are bad, on the contrary, they are great speakers for the price, but I prefer the Primus P363 and at this price point I'm willing to pay more for them. Again, it's all about personal preference and not that the P363s are superior to the AJs technology wise.

Must be a typo. The Pioneers are AJ's.

I have the whole Pioneer phase 2 with the towers and the Infinity P363 towers. Caught both on great sale prices. Since you have a little experience with both sets, can you recommend a bluray movie that will highlight the differences between the speakers.

Unfortunately, I don't have any recommendations for you there. I really don't put much emphasis on speaker quality when it comes to movies so I never compared them in that aspect. I'm more of a 2CH music person so that's where I do all my testing. I do have a fairly capable 9.1 system, but I only concentrated on the 2.1 portion of it. I can only recommend that you use music you are familiar with. That would make comparisons easier than movies imo. I'm guessing action movies with lots of explosions would reveal the dynamic capabilities of a speaker. Any of the Transformer movies and Oblivion come to mind.
