Speakers recommendation?

Hi guys,

Posting on behalf of my dad. He stopped dabbling in the hifi area 15 years ago and would like to get back into it.
Right now he's got a Audio Innovations Series 1000 MK III monoblock. What modern speakers would go well with them?

Cheers!

Ok so you're talking in meters which means you're not in the US, which country are you in? It may limit what's available to you also.

Haha, correct. Australia. Perth to be exact. Limited choice in specialised AV stores here, many of which closed due to the GFC.

Idk if any if the ID brands will ship there but you can ask Salk or Ascend. Otherwise from around the net you should be able to find paradigm, psb, Dali, b&w, dynaudio. I'm sure a few others but that's where I'd start. Most of their websites should locate you some dealers to check out.

We had a listen to some Martin Logans Theos. He loved them but felt it was a bit stingy that only person would only be able to listen at one point.
Any B&W's you could recommend?

I don't have the experience many on here do. That being said I just did an extensive search on speakers in that price range. Don't believe the LS50 by KEF can be beat anywhere near it's price. Also like the company as a whole & at minimum should be a demo in your search
