2 X Klipsch RS-52 II Reference Series
1 X Klipsch SW-110 Reference Series 10-inch 200 Watt Powered Subwoofer

Option 2: $3742
1 X Klipsch RF-82 II Reference Series
1 X Klipsch RB-81 II Reference Series
1 X Klipsch SW-110 Reference Series 10-inch 200 Watt Powered Subwoofer

Please suggest.
The speakers are fine. Run away as fast as you can from the subs, plus those prices seem kind of high.

Again the IMO the best recommendations you have gotten are first, the reaction audio system and second the Chane theater system (since the Berringers are too large).

Get the Reaction Audio system with a pair of PV-15X or pair of BPS215X subs. Or at least get one sub now and in the future get another. If you buy within a year you still get the multiple sub discount on the second one.

I dont see Reaction Speaker system, rather i only see 1 speaker CX-10 on their website. I see the subs V-15X & BPS215X though.

Do you mean to say get 7 of those CX-10s to make it 7.0?

I saw a note from ShadyJ in the same thread saying "I have a hard time recommending Chase stuff, although they will have greater dynamic range than the other bookshelf speakers."; so i wasn't leaning towards Chane. Please advice?

I believe the RA system mentioned include 3 of the CX10s for the fronts and some JBL 8320s for the surrounds.

RA will be producing a CX8 (8" coaxial driver in a smaller cabinet that would make for good surrounds or even front speakers in most rooms). Don't know when they are scheduled for production.

Email RA (Jeremy) and ask. He's very responsive.

Some posters have an issue with Craig Chase formerly of Chase Home Theater and now half of Chane. The other half is Jon Lane, formerly of theaudioinsider website. He designs and produces his own speaker line under the Arx brand. They are very good speakers at very reasonable prices but are similar to other regular speakers in terms of efficiency and dynamics. So these 2 joined to form the new company, each bringing their speakers and designs.

If you have the money, get the RA speakers. 30 day trial period and free shipping both ways IIRC. Get a pair and see how you like them. Maybe get a pair of some other speaker that has a similar trial period and compare them in your own room. Even if you have to pay return shipping on one set of speakers at least you won't be asking what if.

Skip the Klipsch setup. Terrible subwoofers, and speakers are not the best value. I would go with some Reaction CX-10s for front stage speakers and PV15X subs. Use the JBL 8320s for surrounds. That system would be a lot better, and I am saying that as someone who generally likes Klipsch.

Where do i find that RA system that you were referring to that has JBL 8320s and CX10s combination?

I was tying my luck on the forums, just to get the right speakers at the first time; I really hate spending time and money to unpack, listen and return them. If i hate something that i receive that is a different story, I will definitely return.

I tried choosing about 5-6 different options in this thread and again getting back to where I was before starting this thread Too many options and so much of confusion.
I would appreciate, if i can get some recommendation on the better (if not the best) 7.2 system exactly that fits my room and other specifications with Horizontal center (cannot go vertical due to space limitations below the screen).

2 pair of the JBL L810 speakers for surrounds [5 yr warranty]

Based on $4000 - that leaves around $1600 for subs

You wouldn't need an external amp to hit reference levels, and this kind of high efficiency speaker can play loud very easily, meaning lower distortion and better sound quality. Those subs are a good choice, but you could get more bang for your buck with this speaker approach. $1400 for all 5, and maybe stick with a single sub for the time being. I would recommend an acoustically transparent screen if you weren't looking at one, this lets you have a more ideal front sound stage.

Basically a combination of the two above or just the one that ziegl recommended.

Having to return a pair of speakers is such a minor inconvenience compared to realizing too late that you wasted $3000 on gear that doesn't give the results you want.

Total: $4300
========
3 X CX-10 - including Center channel, placed horizontally - $1800
2 X JBL 8320 - $1000
2 X SVS PB-2000 - $1500

How does the above configuration looks like? Do you think, this is better than a combination of Ascend Sierra 2's?

Looks killer. And yes for home theater use IMO it would be better than the Sierras. By all accounts the Sierras are great speakers but more geared towards music than movies.

Reaction Audio does have package discount going on with their speakers so email Jeremy and ask about it and when the CX8 will be available. His subs won't disappoint either. The SVS are great subs but a pair of the PV-15X will have more output and might not be that much more when all said and done.

I have two pairs of Reaction Audio's CX-8's on order and I really looking forward to getting them. They have extremely high quality Radian drivers. The coax driver and crossovers in them are worth over $300, which is quite a bit for a speaker only costing $499ea shipped!

A system consisting of three CX-10's for LCR's and two pairs of CX-8's would be awesome. Plus Jeremy is offering a 5% discount on multiple piece orders and if you aren't happy with them after 30days I know he's offered to pay return shipping. Thanks a pretty solid deal IMO.

Yeah three CX-10s would be killer - if you can fit the CX-10 horizontally. Even placed horizontally, it is still over 12" high. You might look into these CX-8s if you are not in a hurry to build your system, it will not be quite as tall when placed horizontally and it will be a little less expensive as well. They are on pre-order status, so they are at least a month away. The Reaction subs would be killer as well, I think much higher performing than PB2000s for just a little more money.

The CX-8 has a really cool design and actually came about because Jeremy knew that I wanted a slanted style speaker and reached out to me via pm. He said he had an idea for a speaker that could be wall mounted as a 22degree down facing surround, or could be flipped upside down and used as a bookshelf speaker, or turned on its side and used as a center channel in someone entertainment unit.

Great to hear!!! but the difference between CX-8s and CX-10s are $100/speaker right? Is that what it is?

Oh! 12" high Horizontally, then I need to measure and make sure that CX-10 fits as my center channel. I just wanted to build it as soon as I can, before I start loosing interest in it; also don't want to end up spending all the money that I saved to build the theater room

How would it be if i go with 3 X CX-10's, 4 x jbl 8320's with a pair of PV-15X (do you think, PV-15X is too much superior than BPS-215?)

Oh! vow!!! that sounds Interesting. Might be it is worth waiting for a month, in that case? Coz, I like the angled speakers too and that was the reason, i was thinking of JBL 8320s (THX certified) for the surrounds, even though my cables are pre-wired and my SW cables are from Monoprice (not THX certified)

Talk to Jeremy about the subs and which would be better for your room and yes your AVR could handle that system since the speakers are high output designs.

You may end up needing some form of sub equalization since your AVR won't do it.

The popular choice is the free software REW and the use of a minidsp. You will need a nearby computer or laptop and a good USB mic.

Head to the subwoofer forum for info on eqing subs.

I think it is, and if you really didn't like them you can always return them.

I don't pay too much attention to the THX certified stuff. Honestly my JTR speakers aren't THX certified and they sound better to me then my buddy's old Klipsch THX Ultra 2 setup and my receiver is THX certified and the $500 Emotiva UMC-200 pre pro I just started using sounds better. So go figure.....lol

You may end up needing some form of sub equalization since your AVR won't do it.

The popular choice is the free software REW and the use of a minidsp. You will need a nearby computer or laptop and a good USB mic.

Head to the subwoofer forum for info on eqing subs.
Oh!!! ok, I have 0 idea on how to do that sub equalization; hope I get clear info on how to do it, after reading the forums. If not, i don't want to spend on the equipment and keep it giving worst output.

Might be, even if i go with just 1 SW would that need to be adjusted?

I don't pay too much attention to the THX certified stuff. Honestly my JTR speakers aren't and they sound better to me then my buddy's old Klipsch THX Ultra 2 setup and my receiver is THX certified and the $500 Emotiva UMC-200 pre pro u just started using sounds better. So go figure.....lol
I was referring to the Angle of JBL 8320s that I like about. Not much bothered about THX, but what I mean to say is... none of my cables are THX certified. But as per THX rules, they say that the THX certified cables has to be used for THX certified speakers.

My major focus is on angles of the speakers. Might be, I will talk to Jeremy tomorrow and decide on it.

Started with SVS, moved to Ascends, then to HSUs, then to Klipsch and now moved over to Reaction Audio; I hope I stop there No more suggestions on new brands please LOL

Thanks a lot for all your suggestions guys; you guys rock!!!

It's funny how I even really came to buying the CX-8's, I was looking through the threads and I saw one where shadyj had mentioned Reaction's CX-10's. I took a quick look at Jeremy's site and saw the price and then just assumed it was a cheaper quality coax like a Eminence Beta driver or something. (still feel guilty about that) And then Jeremy started to make a few posts directed at me telling me about the speaker and the components uses. Well I was a little shocked to see that he was using the Radian 5210 driver and a custom crossover.

I made a comment saying "too bad you don't have a slanted style speaker like JTR's Slant 8's because I'd be interested in some to go with my 228HT's" He replay was, I can make you some!....lol
Jeremy is a really great guy and I am extremely pleased to go with his CX-8's and I can't wait to hear them. I'm also going to host a small GTG and I'll have a pair of his CX-15T's on hand to directly compare to my 228HT's and a pair of the highly popular DIY 1099's. This will also be a blind listening audition to throw guys for a bit of a loop. Should be fun.

Why would you say that? 10" driver is hardly considered a "big woofer" also.

Jeremy - It was great talking to you. Placed an order for 7.1 system (3 X CX-10s, 4 X CX-8s, 1 X PV-15X).
