Bookshelf Height from Center Speaker

I have a simple question. How height should be a bookshelf speaker from the center. Example. My tv bench is 24" height and its where the center channel is located. So, should my bookshelf stands needs to be 24" height or bit higher?

Ideally, you would want the tweeter of the bookshelf at ear level.

As already mentioned, you would want your tweeters at ear level when sitting, and if at all possible, to have your front three tweeters lined up going across.

I have read that there shouldn’t be more then 2ft difference in height from the center tweeter and the left/right speaker tweeters. In the past I kept mine less then 12in, but now I have them lined up going across now.

The more level they are the better sounding the sound field should be.

+1 I noticed an improvement in sq when I put my LCR tweeters at the same height. If achieving this means the LR speakers need to be mounted a little lower (than ear level) then you can always tilt up the LCR speakers.
