Need Help-B&W 684 S2 Theatre 5.1

Now that i have my Sony VPL HW55 projector set up,i want nice set of speakers to go along with my projector.Iv been looking at B&W 684 S2 Theatre 5.1,and i realy liked them. But problems start at which AV receiver to go along with this 5.1 setup.?A lot of people said to me i would need a realy strong amp because they have 87 sensitivity and all the speakers are rated to play from 25-150w amplifiers.

Main question and i do want this to be simple, which AV receiver would work with these speakers?

Receivers that i looked are

ONKYO TX-NR636 160w at 6ohm
SONY STR-DN840 150w
SONY STR-DN1040 165w

or do i need something stronger.

I know a lot of people would say that i need a power amp beseide these, but com'on these are normal speakers like many out there,im shure that with mid-range receiver i could run these. So far i browsed a lot on net on forums, but havent seen an answer for 684 S2 theater av receiver choice.

Any help would be appreciated!

It's not just the sensitivity of the 684s2s but also the occasional impedance dips to 4 ohms. Overall, they should be considered 6 ohm speakers. The Onkyo should handle them just fine as will the newer Sony STR-DN1050. If you anticipate listening at high volume it might worth be considering an AVR with pre-outs to allow for the addition of an external amp.
