Mt110's should suit you fine. They are high sensitive so the Tammy should drive them to reference level easily with no distortion
They image incredibly well and have a great 3d sound. They do NOT sound like your typical horn speaker. Their speakers are phenomenal. And they have a 30 day free shipping both ways in home trial. Check me out
What is your budget? What speakers have you already heard? There are countless speaker companies out there so it would be nice to know what you heard already, what you liked and didn't like.
Why the sudden hesistation for get PSA speakers when you bought their subwoofer? If they have a 30 day in home trial period where they will pay the shipping both ways you have nothing to lose. You don't like them return them within the 30days. You like, keep them.
Heck try another pair of speakers from a company with a similar risk free at home trial period at the same time, like SVS, and then return the ones you don't like.
There really isn’t such a thing as matching speakers to an AVR (unless the AVR is underpowered and the speakers have poor sensitivity). Same with a subwoofer — no real relationship (unless one is talking about white van or similar quality). For speakers, you want to be looking for something YOU love the sound of. Nothing more, nothing less. And there are plenty of excellent tower and bookshelf speakers to choose from. Go out and audition as many as you want, and have fun doing it!
Speakers do have a relationship on what SPLs (volume) you want and whether it's mainly for music or movies or a combination. There is also a close relationship to room acoustics.
I of course like Klipsch, some don't, you may not. Personally for $300/pair I'd get the RB61IIs and an inexpensive pair of stands over the RF42s.
Because Klipsch is not everyone's cup of tea I'd try and listen to some in person or order from Crutchfield where you get 60 days and free or $10 return shipping.
Actually, $350 / pair is an excellent price for a good budget bookshelf speaker. And it’s the speakers that are your most important investment, followed by the subwoofer (which you have very nicely taken care of). If that’s too high, then consider these:
$225 / pair (includes shipping) EMP Tek R5Bi bookshelf speaker (formally E5Bi): http://emptek.com/r5bi.php Buy a third for your center channel and you’ll be at $337.50 shipped for three speakers. Add in the surrounds (E3b’s @ $125 / pair) and you’re all in at $462.50 shipped.
