Klipsch R-24f

Building a new system for my father inlaw. We have a Yamaha R-S500 and are looking for some floor standing speakers. I have about 400-425 to spend and ran across the Klipsch R-24F, does anybody know of these speakers very few reviews? Are their any better foe that price?

Is the budget flexible at all?
I'm assuming this is for a 2.0 music set-up given the choice of amp.
Klipsch speakers are known for being very bright making them a good choice for HT. I would suggest listening to them before buying. If you want more detailed and clean sound, There are some good options in the $700-750 range. Another option would be 2 bookshelves and a sub.

Kef Q100 FL/FR,SL/SR, Kef Q200C, Bic F12 sub, Denon AVR-S710W, , Panasonic 50" Plasma, cable box, Xbox One, Toshiba laptop.
Bedroom: JBL Loft 50 FL/FR , Loft 20 center, JBLSP 150 sub, Pioneer VSX-830K, PS3, 32" Insigna LED.

My budget is not that flexabile and my father in law is 81 so I don't know if he will be able to tell the difference between good speakers and great speakers.
