College, apartment, high ceiling, need Bluetooth.
I listen to all kinds of music, not a basshead and I know I shouldn't expect deep bass from bookshelf speakers. That's okay. I live in an apartment so booming bass would be a problem anyway for my neighbors.
Thinking Yamaha RS202 (150$) for the receiver, tryna decide on what speakers.
So something that'll have good synergy with that receiver, that it can power well.
Been tossing up between ELAC B5s, or KEF Q100, Polk TSi100, and some other ones etc to give you an idea.
Not sure if this this important, but I do play music at lower volumes a fair bit so if the speaker sounds good when not cranked up that's a bonus, won't really play them very loud often.
Also need suggestions for speaker stand's that won't break the bank but do the job well and will hold up.
Open to other suggestions like self powered speakers and whatnot that kinda stick to under 400$~ more or less.. I love music but I can't blow too much on this.
My favorite sound for now comes from my Zero Audio Tenore earbuds.
Kind of afraid I've already picked out good options and it's just all subjective really at this point
