Other,

Def. Tech 2006tl, 2300clr and BPX2 (I think) with a Rocket UFW-10 sub. Will be changing to Rocket RS850, RSC200, RSS300, RS250 and add another UFW-10 for our new theater room.

I see a lot of Rocket systems listed, although I have only bought their sub (B-stock got lucky) their customer service is great. Has anyone else gone from Def. Tech to Rocket? What are the differences good or bad. When I get ready to buy I will try to demo. the Rocket's in my area (So. Maine).

Thanks, Bill

My SACD collection, watch it grow and my wallet shrink ;-).

Denon 4311 (in preamp mode), Parasound 2100, Boston Acoustics A7200 amp, Oppo BDP-103, Consonance CD120, Panasonic TC-P60GT50 plasma, Panamax 5100EX, Salk Song Towers, Song Center, ADS 300C (surrounds) and two Rythmik F12SEs.

Polk: Still have a pair of both the Monitor 10 series2 and the Monitor5 series2 I bought new in '91 (the 5's for the master bedroom driven by Carver). LSi15's may replace the M10's. Not looking to replace the M5's S2. They seem to like that Carver Tuner/Amp sound.

break out "other" by having a second poll with more choices...maybe a third as well.....reference the first

Seeking a speaker recomendation? Compare for yourself or be swayed by others who hear differantly, or by marketing, or just save time and get the cheapest , nicest looking, or smallest.

Coming from a Paradigm owner.. Yes, B&W could use it's own catagory in the pole as well... My guess is they're a large part of the "other" votes.

If I had to do it again, I'd consider the 700 series more closely with my reference paradigms. The old CDMs as well.. GREAT speakers. Of course the 800 series go without saying.
