I went from MA Silver series to Paradigm 60's and 590 v5 and there was a HUGE difference. I'm still a huge fan of Paradigm after going to JTR Triple 12's. Great sound for music and home theater with the digms. Do it and don't think twice IMO.

Beauties. Had the exact same speakers. I used them for 99% HT and gaming. Not much if any 2 channel so 100's would have gone to waste for me. Enjoy them! Like the tape job of the last speaker for the toe in. I do that too.

LOL Baron. The tape job was for the previous V3's. I haven't done a master set with the new ones yet.

Curious what center channel is a match for these beauties?

The CC-590 is Paradigm's recommended match for the 60's but if you have enough room and can find one I'd get the CC-690.
For break-in just play them at moderate volume for a couple of weeks, maybe less if you listen to them a lot.

I know some people here are/were looking for cc-690 ... there's a piano black one on Audiogon. Came close to pulling the trigger myself, but realistically it's too big for my needs.

The upgrade bug bit me again. I ordered a pair of Signature S6s last Friday. They should arrive by the end of the week. Can't wait!
My v2 S4s went to a new home today as well so I am music less for a few days.

Hey guy's,

Just a heads up that some decent Paradigms up for sale on CL in the Seattle/Oregon area. I'm out of touch on pricing but here is what's out there...

Paradigm 100 v5 2k
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ele/4955966239.html

Paradigm S8 V3 w/ "granite isolation bases" Piano Black $6,500
http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/ele/4955469290.html

Don't know shipping availability or anything. Just thought I would alert the Paradigm crew since I'm still a huge fan. If I could get the wife to approve of some floor standers in the living room I'd be interested but I can't push it after the hands off JTR stuff she let me do in the theater room.

I can't say enough about how good these v5's are compared to my v3's. They are breathtaking. I've had to (at least 3 times) walk over to my subwoofers and touch them to make sure they aren't on. (*They aren't*) The full range of these speakers is amazing...and I haven't even done a room set or EQ yet.

My post on facebook ....

"Dear Paradigm, I ordered my Prestige speakers in Midnight Cherry in mid January and only the 55c came in (March20). I really would like to get them so I can sit down and enjoy my theater room. Could you please find a way to get the 95f's and 85f's I ordered as soon as possible ...over 3 months now ....."

Guys, can you help me decide. My setup is Monitor 7s, center 3, polk audio tsi300 for surrounds, svs sb13ultra and anthem mrx300. Will be moving to a new condo soon with a living room size 12x14x9. Which upgrade should i go for, upgrade the fronts to monitor 11s and move the 7s at the surround duty or buy a pair of surround 3. No option for 7.1 space is to tight. Thanks

If it was me, I always put upgrading the fronts as a priority over the surrounds. But not sure if upgrading from 7's to 11's is big enough difference. Other guys here who have had done that upgrade can answer that.

No knowing what your budget is, however I would upgrade your fronts to Studio series (60/100) and move the 7's to the rear. There is a much bigger improvement in sound that you will appreciate for both music and HT. If you are heavy with your HT viewing then you should upgrade the centre channel as well.

My $0.02 worth

HT: Pioneer SC-85, Anthem MCA 50 Oppo BDP-103, PS3
OSD ATM-7
2CH: Pioneer Elite SX-A9-J, Pioneer PL 518 turntable, Pioneer PD M455 CD, Pioneer CT-WM77R Tape
SP: Paradigm Studio 60's, CC 690, Studio 20's SR, Studio 20's SB, Ultracube 10 SW
