It is a little low I used to have it mounted on top but it sounded way better lower and I have about 9 feet so the image disperses nicely

Anyone have an idea where I could find a new or used signature c5 v3 in cherry? I've been searching online and paradigm has checked dealers with no luck. I have the s8 towers and 4 s2 v3 and can't find a matching center. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated immensely.

For sure that's better than above the screen if firing at the same angle.

Like you I can't just raise the whole speaker into the display.

So I've got to angle mine up a bit more. It's tweeter is aimed about in mid chest now.

Just been trying to decide what to raise the front with.
I did a test with random stuff and it helped. But it didn't look good and wasn't stable.

I had to do some work with the rest of the setup that was more pressing.

Maybe a version newer or older?
Not sure what changed with each version but often it's not a big change.

I'm not certain on the differences between versions but I think the v2 is when they started using beryllium tweeter and the v3 has beryllium tweeter and the woofers are different. I'm mostly concerned with the beryllium tweeter and the finish matching. I had considered purchasing the 95f and getting the c55 center for free but was able to demo them and the c55 tweeter sounds different to me and the finishes don't match at all. Also regarding the prestige series, I asked my dealer last week when I demoed the 95f and c55 if he thought a v2 was coming due to the current promo and he thought it was likely

Unless you have a deticated home theater like some users it's all about compromise. I tried to match mine almost Identical to dolby atmos pdf and I am 99 perecent there placement wise. The center is a little low but still sounds like it's coming out of the tv with this setup so I am 100% satisfied.

No doubt. That why I'm raising the front of the center to aim it a little higher.

Seams to matter more with the center than other speakers.

Try raising the front edge and inch or so and compare.

My center sits higher to start but lifting the front edge 1/2" helps with dialog clarity. It sounded great before and I didn't think I'd notice a difference, but I did.

So that's where my goof up happened I measured the wall mount to sit perfectly with the center so they would be no gap. I am not sure if I raise the front it would clear the tv. Actually come to think of it the sanus mount I have let's you adjust and inch up or down, so that might work. Hopefully it's not pre adjusted to the top lol

Excellent! Glad you like it and are satisfied with the results of the not-totally 100% matched speakers. I figured they'd be just fine. Can you detect any timbral differences, or are they pretty darn well integrated??

Awesome. Those PW speakers are super impressive. I don't love Play-Fi, but it has gotten dramatically better lately through firmware and DTS app updates.

For Sale: Peachtree Audio Nova 150 - Paradigm Prestige 75F speakers - Focal Sopra Center Channel - JL Audio E112 (x3)

Yeah, we use our PW800 daily, it's been super-solid for a good streak now. We enjoy it. Can't beat FREE....

I had ordered the avm 60 the day before the promotion started but my dealer canceled for me and will reorder later to take advantage of the free pw 800. He said I have until late November. I'm going to demo the 95f again today and possibly order a pair for a two channel setup in the living room. I can't make up my mind on which way to go. I really just want a signature c5 center to match my signature 8s and 2s but have been searching for months with no luck. So I'm of this mindset now to get the 95f with a c55 matching center free and either put my s8s in the living room for 2 channel and the three prestige speakers as the fronts in the basement HT. I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing, I really just want a matching signature setup. My mind has been going in circles since I found out about the free c55 promo. Also going to demo a SVS sb16 ultra again today and probably come home with that. I hate going to demo products and coming home with nothing. My dealer runs circles for me and I eat up a ton of his time with demos and phone calls and I feel bad not buying anything.

Also I was able to get a great deal on my signature 8 and 2s and paid 5k for the pair of s8 and 2k a pair on the 4 s2. So in my mind I'm paying the same for a pair of 95f which in my mind are nowhere near as nice of a speaker. I think the 6 driver 3 way s8 is a substantial upgrade in both sound and cosmetic appearance to the 2.5 way 4 driver 95fs. The free c55 is pulling me in though and having a 2 channel for music in the living room sounds good to the wife and I. When we went to look at the 95f the first time I said honey wouldn't those look really nice in the living room on the sides of the fireplace. She agreed and said buy them

So the wife and I went down to listen to some speakers and demo the Sony 285 projector. They had the 95fs hooked up to some nice Mac gear and we both thought they sounded really good. Still wasn't able to make a decision on the 95s but I'm definitely leaning that way. Checked out the pw 800 as well. Wasn't really interested but it was nice to see the free gift I was going to get with the avm 60. Only thing we ended up taking home was a nice new shiny SVS sb 16 ultra. We are moving into our new house on the 1st of November and the wife is 33 weeks pregnant with twins so everything is just temporarily set up in our bedroom.

I'd love for my wife to say buy them.

She thinks the money I spent 18 years ago was too much (monitor 7s, atoms, cc) and no need to upgrade

I just want to make sure I don't have buyers remorse. Also I'm on a budget, we needed a bigger house and she wants new furniture.
I am trying to make sure that whatever we get I can be happy with for a long time. We have until the end of the month to take advantage of the free c55 deal from paradigm so I'm trying to think long and hard.

Hi guys, getting Monitor Surrounds soon which will be going into a new build. Just wondering if these flush mount to the wall? I've spent a bit of money on sound proofing in this room, so I'm worried about cutting a large hole in the wall behind the speakers to feed the cables through.

Not sure what you might be happier with.

If it was even remotely in budget and my wife OK'd it, I wouldn't think twice.

For that matter I'd jump on any upgrade from my Monitor 7/Atom setup she would agree to.

I already have the signature speaker setup minus center. Running the monitor center at tge moment so I don't really need any more speakers. I'm thinking that a projector would be money better spent

Speakers or projector is a tough call if you have a setup to allow for one.
Sadly I don't. I have one room for TV/movies/music and a projector won't do for full time use (bulbs can't handle the hours). With a 12ft ceiling I can't really use retractable screen, and that plus 20' from the opposite wall make mounting a projector tough. Extra tough to do and get wife approval.

Different opinions on the improvement from Studio to Prestige, but feels like more think it's s notable improvement.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the look (same for the Persona line).

But I'd be buying for sound not looks.

I get one room in the basement to do as I please. With wife approval of course. She's pretty easy and supportive as long as she gets what she wants as well. The room is roughly 14 x 22. I would like to make this a theater/music/adult hangout area. At this point the weak point in my quest for audio visual glory has got to be my avr. It's rather embarrassing to me that I'm running a 5k lg OLED and near 20k worth of speakers with a 700 dollar onkyo Avr. I have about 5k budgeted for a pre and amps at the moment but can't decide which way to go. Was dead set on anthem avm 60 but now second guessing that. I have never had a projector and have been reading a ton of posts on here but most of the guys discussing it are pros and they might as well be speaking a different language.
