Yes. If I recall, I had to buy the bolt that connected to the keyhole and Omnimount.

I have a pair of Paradigm SE1's and an SE Center that I'm looking to sell if anyone is interested. They have been in a smoke free environment and are in excellent condition. I still have the original boxes and will ship them double boxed.

I'm looking to sell them because I just moved and I can no longer use my center channel effectively so I'm looking to upgrade my mains. PM me if you are interested.

I ordered a replacement grill for a Studio 40 directly from Paradigm. I can't recall the cost, but it was very reasonable. Something like $30. the 100 would be more as the grill is 2 or 3 x bigger though.

Try audiogon.com but sell as a set I've seen some se1s sit there for a while.

My dealer was able to get me a new replacement grill for free direct from paradigm for my studio 100 which suffered a minor attack from a puppy. Lol

Think I have settled on my components.

L/R: Studio 20's
C: CC-490 (590 is too big and too expensive)
Surrounds: CS-80R in-ceiling

Does anyone know if they still offer the Birdseye Maple finish at a higher price? If I remember correctly from the last time I was at the dealer, they offer more finishes than the one's they show on the website. Just wondering if anyone knows off the top of their head.

That's a really nice system. You're going to add a subwoofer, right?

nope. the birdseye maple was just on the v2. natural maple was offered on the v3, but it too has been discontinued unfortunately.

In the coming months, yes. Just not in the budget right now and IMO it's the easiest speaker to add later.

Mounted my ADP-390's today. I just want to say that I love the speakers, but the mounts leave something to be desired. It was so difficult to get my speakers hung straight. Paradigm really needs to come up with something different. Sorry, just wanted to vent.

Last I heard the 10s come in master packs of 2 so the dealer is not lying. However, if the dealer wants your business enough master packs can be broken for a surcharge. I'd ask them to get on the horn with Paradigm and try to figure out how much it would be. I think a single speaker of a master pack goes through their parts dept.

Hi all,

I am very excited to be building my first home and with it comes my first home theater. I am looking for opinions on the setup and any recommendations that come along will be taken into regard.

The room is a dedicated room for theater which is 20' by 13.5' and the room will be used for 50-60% gaming and the rest movies and sports.
The products I am sourcing are

Mitsubishi HC7800 projector
Grandview 120" motorised screen - getting bulkheads put in, so behind the screen I will mount a TV (yet to be decided) to maximise lamp life of the projector when I can't be bothered using it.
Panasonic DMR-BWT800GL 1TB 3D Blu ray recorder / twin HD tuner
Denon AVR4311/12
Paradigm Monitor 11's
Paradigm CC-390
Two pairs of Paradigm ADP-390s for Wides and Rear surrounds
Paradigm Atom for heights
Paradigm DSP-3400 Sub
PS3 1TB (60GB)

Question: with the Centre, I am getting the V7 monitors, I love the size of the CC-390, but will it be out of place? Should I get the Centre 3 instead? What about the ADPs seeing that the new surround 3s are Bi-polar?

Would this set up be OK for 2 rows of seating or should I scrap the wides and get a different model for rears? what about for 1 row of seating?

Expert suggestions please, I am very new to this. your advice is appreciated

I plan to use 5 of the same speakers for my HT setup. LCR.
The 10's seem pretty close to the 20's spec wise so I an looking
to them as an option instead of the 20's. The dealer I spoke to
told me the 10's are only sold in pairs so I was just checking on that.

I am looking to add rear/Surround speakers to my setup. The room is roughly 15'x18'. Currently I have Paradigm LCR and Bic subwoofer.

Left and Right: Paradigm Titans's
Center: CC190
Setup is mostly for movies.
Budget- $500 for pair.

Hi,
new to the avs forum. And am hoping to get some help. The speakers will be used 85% (tv/movies/gaming) 15% music
Currently i have:
hk254 receiver
bk5000 external amp
Polk monitor 60s
Polk cs2
Polk owm3 as surround
Bic PL200

Recently i have wanted to upgrade my speakers. Originally i was thinking of just upgrading to polk's The RTI A line with RTI a5s and CS5 center. Which i would get from polk direct. But upon doing a lot of research i have gained a lot of knowledge on different speakers. And now considering a few more options around the same price as the RTI A5s.
Paradigm Monitor 7 v 5 (audiogon)
Kef iQ70 + IQ1 (local pick up)

I have not heard either the paradigms or the KEfs. But i have heard the A5s. I was just wondering what others think.
Thanks

LG 55LK520
Denon 3311
Denon bdp 1611
KEF Q200c
KEF Q300s L/R
Bic Pl200

I had Paradigm Monitor 9 v.5's and I flipped some KEF IQ1's not too long ago... The Paradigms and KEFs have very different character. I would say the Paradigms are closer to the Polks in terms of sound. The tweeters will be more forward and "sharper" sounding. The tweeter on the KEFs was more reserved/laid back/"softer", with a more pronounced mid-range. Of the two with no EQ, I preferred the Paradigms.

I eventually sold the monitors and went with some used Paradigm Studio 40 v.2's which are somewhere in between...very balanced. If you're not married to the idea of towers, Studio bookshelfs would be a nice upgrade from the Polks, I think.

What's the difference between Studio 40's and Titans? Looks like Paradigm got rid of Titan series. Also what goes well as surrounds with Titans?

They only have a 5 1/4 driver though. The 20s pack more punch and would be a better option for theater then the 10s. I've listened to all of mine separately when I was setting up zone channels. IMHO the 10s are great for the rears and that's about it.

Hey fellow Paradigm owners. I could use some advice on a center channel dilemma I've found myself in.

I recently got the MilleniaOne 5.0 set paired with an SVS PB12-NSD. This setup was replacing a crappy, 5 to 10 year old Polk RM surround setup with an upgraded Polk CS10 center. Ever since I hooked everything up I thought the center channel sounded a tad weak, but didn't ever check to confirm this.

Well last night my wife and I were watching Crazy Stupid Love, and I noticed the dialog didn't sound all that great. I paused the movie and quickly swapped out my Polk CS10 center, hit play and as I was afraid it would, everything sounded SO much better!

I'm kinda disappointed that my cheap-o Polk center that I got for $80 when Amazon had a deal on it sounds drastically better than my $250 MilleniaOne as a center.

I know they say there's no replacement for displacement, and to it's credit, the CS10 is at LEAST 4 times, probably more like 5 times the size of the MilleniaOne, but still. It's 1/3 the price! Luckily the fronts and rear surrounds sound infinitely better than the really cheap-o Polk RM speakers they replaced.

So now I'm seriously considering returning my 5.0 system and ordering 2, 2.0 systems and keeping my CS10 as the center. I know they're not tonally matched, but they sound pretty nice together IMO.

My main question is:

- Would I be better off getting a Paradigm center that would be a better match for the MilleniaOnes than my CS10? If so, can you make any suggestions? My size constraints are 20" wide x 7.5" high x 24" deep.

I would think anything Paradigm has that is comparable size to the Polk I have is going to sound way better. Maybe. Or is the CS10 from Polk really THAT good of a deal??? Thoughts?
