Any suggestion for up-firing rears?

I know this is a screwy scenario, so apologies from the get-go...

My current configuration is an SSA-50 up front, but I'm looking to upgrade by added dedicated rears. However, due to my room configuration my only option is to setup the rears as up-firing behind the primary seating locations.

Might anyone have any suggestions for a pair of rears that would be complimentary to my SSA-50, but also provide decent (not looking for miracles) surround characteristics?

Currently looking at:

Mythos Gem

Any assistance on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

I decided to go for the cheapest solution, only add the Pro Center 1000 speaker, and leave everything else as is. I have not done it yet however. I'll let you know how it works out in a month. I tried a mockup of the Pro Center 2000 on my mantle, and it looks like an absolute horse of a size. Could have been grounds for divorce.
