So I grabbed the VR960s today, they are in showroom condition except for one of the tweeters is pushed in. It sounds fine but I would like to get a replacement, because they are in such good shape otherwise. Amps work fine, no hums and the speakers sound pretty darn smooth and full. Anyone know of any Lynnfield tweeter replacments?

I trolled EBAY for months and found a used one for about $50. They cannot be bought as new from BA so the used market is the only place to find them.

Yeah I figured, I'm sure its a highly coveted eBay find. I am probably better off just looking for a lone VR speaker to sacrifice, although I would hate to do that. I think I may just sell the VR960s to a friend as I like my VR940s better. They are just louder and more punchy. The 960s are smoother and better separation but the 4" midbass/midrange is getting way too worked at high volume. Seems like they should have crossed the woofer over at 200 hz instead of 150. The 940s play low and punchy, not as low as the 960s but they seem to know their limits better. Anyone else compare the two and hear this as well?

How do you mount your speaker to the wall, it would be nice if you can make a video and youtube it. Lots of people would definitely benefit from your skills.

I would like to find out the best possible speaker configuration/combinations and room placement for my home theatre system. My speakers are as follow:

Amp: Denon AVR 3313
2x BA VR35 THX floorstanding
1x BA VR12 centre
4x BA VRS Pro THX dipole
1x BA VR2000 THX subwoofer
2x BA VR2 floorstanding
1x BA VRC centre
1x BA CRC centre
2x BA CR95 floorstanding

My room is pretty much square, carpeted.
