Thanks for the info, this clears things up. The YPAO seems to have done a good job, even with the left side surround sitting significantly closer, it blends extremely well. The only time I notice it is when Im sitting on the part of the sectional where the speaker is 2 ft from my head.

I currently have 3 LCR Fronts, VS Surround and RC 10 Rears with a NSD-PB12 SVS sub.

I primarily play Video Games and Watch movies. Would the RC-70's as fronts be a major upgrade? Room is about 12x22 with TV and LCRS along the 12' wall.

When we move into a new house i plan on a theater room bigger than that. Could still use the RC70's as a 2.1 in living room. They are about $250 shipped each right now.

Want RC70 pair (used six months, clean) for $400 at Houston?

I had bought RC70 pair for $600 in 2013. Used those only for six months, are now lying in box at Houston.
I have moved to CA now. I was planning to move RC70s and my other speakers to San Jose now. But then saw RC70 deal at 250/each at Frys.

If someone purchases my RC70 pair at $400 at Houston...
I will be saved from shipping those monsters from Houston to San Jose, and can instead purchase from Frys at San Jose.
Buyer saves $100 compared to Frys current deal.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

I believe you need to purchase the whole tweeter assembly.

Has anyone noticed that the screws securing the drivers in the cabinet get loose after removing the drivers a few times? Each time I have taken them out, more and more wood shavings come out with the screws and the looser they seem when screwing them back in. Only thing I can think of is to try the toothpick trick down the road???

Tough question. The RC-LCRs are very good and having all three across the front is a sweet situation. I don't have the 70's but the next step down, the RC-50's with and RC-LCR center, I didn't progress from the LCR's but from RC-10's.

I would think it would normally be a good step up, but the RC-LCRs are pretty good especially with a good sub. If you could do three RC-70's across the front, it would be easier to say that it would be better.

Sorry I can't be more help, but if forced to, I'd do it only if I could do three RC-70s, otherwise I'd just get another sub.
