It will be used for movies only.

My room is 4 meters wide and 8 meters long. In feets it will be 13x26.

Setup 2: 9.2

Setup 3: 11.2

Emotiva XPA-5

Any comments or other ideas would be nice.

When i have saved more money I plan to expand to 4 subs.
The first option (7.2) but with the B6s as fronts unless you want the towers to avoid using stands. If you're only going to use the system for movies and you have a sub the towers aren't really needed. The NR1010 is a good choice and it should have enough power for decent rear surround sound at lower volumes, at least in 5.1 mode.

Sony 5700ES
PSB Image T5, PSB Image B5, PSB Image B4, PSB Image C4

I would go with set up 3 and with that receiver I would do Atmos 2 in the ceiling

I have now been to the dealer and listened to the PSB speakers and have now got a new setup in my head. Lol.

This setup will include atmos.

9.2.2

Pioneer SC-LX87
Image B6 fronts
Image C5 center
Image B6 wides
Image B6 surround
Image B6 surround back
Dual SVS PB2000
2 in ceiling speakers for atmos (dont know which yet)

I am more keen on this setup I guess, but not really sure yet.

What do you think?

is the center going under the screen?

optimally you would want B6's for all 3 front channels if it will fit of course

Panasonic 65VT30 | Panasonic AE8000 HD PJ | Denon x4000 | Emotiva XPA-5 | PSB imagine B's | PSB image c5 | PSB B4's | DUAL PSA XS30 | OPPO 103 | minidsp

The center would go under the screen I got 50 cm from the floor untill the bortkom of the screen.

I Worry about using B6 as fronts, as if they got enough power. I will be sitting 18 feet from the screen.

Or should I go with towers... Cant choose

I used B6's as mains...and they have PLENTY of power...Im currently using imagine B's

so rest your worries in that dept. unless your room is extraordinarily large...you will be fine

So you would go with

B6's for front, center, wide, surround and surround backs?

I thought that i had to you use a Real center speaker. Will the dialogue still be as clear with a B6?

only reason for a sideways center channel is to fit under a TV or screen...

if you can fit another B6 under the screen that is the preffered choice...it will give you 3 identical speakers across the front...

so yes 7 or 5 (depending on your setup) of the EXACT same speaker is the best..in this case ALL B6's

in fact I am looking for a single imagine B to replace my C5 center

I can fit it in there np, it will be on a stand. But it will not be in the same height as the 2 other fronts

And if you're thinking about Atmos, and are considering (for now, non-PSB ) Dolby-Enabled upfiring speakers rather than in-ceiling ones, it's a good idea to aim for ear height for those tweeters. Or so goes the thinking in the Dolby Atmos thread.

I live in Thailand and we got plenty of ancient speakers

In us dollars they are around 460 bucks. Not cheap, but imported stuff is not cheap overhere.
