haha. That's right. I've already done my part. Someone else needs to step up. What do you think a silver 3 way center would run for? $1000?

$1000 too expensive. Needs to stay competitive. Maybe $850. Twin 6.5 woofers, golden dome tweeter and 4" midrange

So far I will use my Polk Rti4 or RtiA7 towers as surrouds. Just wondering if its wise to get in the future a pair of Radius 90HD or A pair of Silver 1 as surrounds.

And third, bi amp or not bi amp?? I consider bi-amp was very good when I used it of my floorstander Polk RtiA7 or any floorstand speaker, but bi-ampiing on silver 2 bookhelf or any bookshelf? Isnt too much power to use one channel amp just for a tweeter? I have a Pioneer SC81 receiver in which can deliver true 120W per channel from D3 Amps.

Anyone noticed a huge difference from the gold 3-way center vs Silver Centre?
Anyone please? By the way I got thr Silver 2. So freaking amazing. Center channel as well. Im really very impressed with this soeaker. Im in love!!?

For the price I think you got a great deal especially since you could get the silver 1s too and pay roughly the same price as just the gx100s.
I wouldn't bother biamping since it's not likely to provide any audible difference or improvements. Your pioneer should do well with that setup.
Glad you're enjoying your speakers! If I can't find a used pair of rosenut rx1s, I might have to get a pair of silver 1s in the future.
For surrounds I'd go with the silvers 1s optimally

Thanks; and now that we get rid of Radius HD; then here are my options within the near future:

a. Silver 1 for Surrounds or
b. Silver FX for Surrounds, or
c. Silver 8 for Fronts and use Siver 2 for Surrounds.

I believe Silver 2 is an overkill for surrounds. From what I noticed between Polks RTia7 and Silver 2 is that Silver 2 is much clear; dymanics are amazing. Polks are great but I can hear some "noise" somewhere in which I can't pinpoint; its not compare with the soomthness and clarity of the Silver 2.

But I have to say that Polks fills bit better the low end when seeing a movie; just on the front stage; But I bet changing crossover settings and reposition the sub will fix that problem. It just one day so far; I need couple of days and lots of hours before setting everything right; and also I dont have stands yet!... Coming soon. Pics Soon! So far what can I say? I like much more the Silvers than the Polkies...

Kinda depends on if you want towers or if you want to stick with bookshelves. If just movies, I'd go with the 1s. If you play a lot of music too, the 8s will be great and just move the 2s to surrounds. Many like bookshelves and sub for music over towers because you can place a sub in the best location for bass. I've had it both ways and prefer towers as I think it sounds a little fuller, but that's just me.

Yes, maybe thats what ai meant with the Polks; a bit fuller sound but so far the clarity is a big plus. So i can imagine how great would be silver 8s. So, what towers do you have? And second: silver 1s still better than silver fx?

I have the previous silver model, RX8s. They're great

'Better' is subjective. I've never actually heard any of the new silvers, but with the new 3d audios (Dolby Atmos, DTS-UHD, Auro) coming out, they all seem to indicate that monopoles like the 1 are the preferred design for these setups as they help place sounds in the audio more precisely than the more diffuse sound bi/dipole designs.

I just saw there's a pair of rosenut RX1s listed on eBay.

SilverFX cost $950 in glossy; but GoldFX cost $1095. Im willing to pay the $150 extra for the GoldFX; its not much difference in price and has more drivers. How would be the match in If Im using the Silver 2s as Fronts and Center SilveR?? Here is the pic of my setup.

How is it, or why is it, that the older Gold GSLCR center (@27.5lbs) is smaller in size but weighs more than the larger newer Gold GXC350 center (@21.75lbs)?

Does'nt make sense to me.

I guess the differences could be in speaker driver chassis design? less (metal) mass?

My guess is that it's a typo/error on their website. Note that the listed weight for the GXC350 is the same as the listed weight for the GX100. And we know that's pretty unlikely, since it's bigger and has more drivers. I think they have the GX100 weight listed under the GXC350. It's not the first time I've seen errors on their site - or on other company's sites.

thanks, maybe you're correct! At least I hope this is the reality (ie. that is, a typo). All I know is I was lifting my GSLCR the other night and it is a rock (which is what you want- solid cabinet mass and drivers)

Did you sell your GS set on eBay? I saw that the auction had ended with a couple of bids. Was it to somebody in Canada, or near the border? There's now a set listed at canuckaudiomart.com using the exact same pictures you had posted in your ad. Is somebody just trying to flip your speakers at a hefty profit?
