No problem at all...I'll either end up spending more on the XPA-200 or waiting for the new UPA series release... Technically my receiver could drive the Silver 10s, but I'd prefer to off load them onto a separate AMP. There really aren't that many affordable quality 2 channel amps on the market...

Another one I noticed is from monoprice. I've been pretty happy with most of the stuff I've bought from them in the past and the specifications are good for the money... but there desn't seem to be any information about the design Class AB/D or power supply which troubles me.

Being that's a 4 ohm speaker,it would probably be a good idea to amp them. I'd get an XPA 3 myself. You got gloss black, right?

No, I'm going with the Walnut Finish to match the decor/finishes. The Gloss Black does look very nice though. The wife has already approved of the Walnut Finish...can't go changing furniture, bar cabinets etc just to get the cooler speaker finish can I.

That is the other option:
  1. XPA-3 using a CP-WT380IDC for a center channel.
  2. XPA-200 using a CP-WT240LCR for a center channel

The center channel will be behind the projector screen. I'm already running over budget on this basement finish so I was hoping to get away with a CP-WT240LCR powered with a UPA-200. The 240LCR actually seems like a closer design match to the Silver Lines to me, same 4" C-CAM drivers and tweeter, very similar crossover point...
