I I am not very happy right now. Our cat damaged the top surface dark walnut Gold series speaker. I need to figure out what filler is a good match.

As far as getting Dolby Atmos in ceiling speakers to match with your Gold Series Monitor Audio series, I would take a look at Goldenear Technology. They won't break the bank like the Platinum MAs and IMO match up nicely. I have purchased the Invisa 650s and they sound great. The highs are clear and open, but never ultra bright. That is a very similar sound to the Gold series. I thought I read that someone suggested Martin Logan in ceiling speakers with the folded motion tweeter, however, I once had a smaller setup of the Gold GX50 bookshelf speakers with the Martin Logan Motion 2s as the rear channels. I did not like the match, and the rears were always super crunchy in comparison. Not that the Motion 2s didn't sound good, they just sounded way brighter than the Gold bookshelves. The Gold series tweeter to me sounds open, clean and clear without the harsh brightness. Anyways, something to consider. The Invisa 650s are only $500 for a pair. Check them out!

Are you sure he won't even try? If he tries and loses his balance or drops that thing in the process, he may do even more damage.

Anyway, good luck.

The items on the speaker are cloth. Also, things above the speaker are now cloth. I think he knocked a figure off the Entertainment furniture and onto the speaker.

Monitor Audio gold 300/200 owners, what is your speaker distance from the side walls? the manual says they must be a minimum of 3 feet from each side wall. Is that really necessary? Couldn't I get them closer to the side walls than 3 feet and increase the spacing between the speakers for wider imaging?
