Can anyone tell me if the Klipsch R-15M's at Bestbuy are basically re-branded KB-15's? They look the same, and have damn near identical specs. Any info appreciated, I think they are what I'm going to pick up.

I was between 62' and 82' for a long time. Talked to few people about them and I got more into 82' but price was not right until AVS final sale and I pull trigger. Can't wait to open boxes and play with them and I also need to hook up Emo that I bought to see if I can feel different if not Emo going for sale I guess, will see soon.

BTW if someone looking for RF-7II and RC-64II call Mike from AVS last pair great price!!!

Bob's Ti diaphragms are only about $30 each. Well worth the cost! I have two KLF-10'S and three KLF-C7's (two for surrounds) that I replaced all 5 speakers with Bob's Ti diaphragms. Wanting to hunt down some KLF-20's for fronts and move the KLF-10's to surround, than move two C7's to rear or Heights. Love the KLF's!

Is AVS getting out of the Klipsch game or something? AFAIK new Klipsch speakers aren't even going to be announced until next year. I'm fairly certain the usual suspects like ASD and Sound Distributors still have plenty of stock.

Klipsch SW-115 or BIC PL-200? I don't know if I can even compare these two as there is a huge difference in price.

Sw-115 for sure. But at that price range you might want to look into some ID subs like svs also and see what you think.

The SW 115 by a long shot. But, I wouldn't touch it for full retail. If you can swing it for less than $600 that would be a decent deal.

I have two KL-6504's as my left and right in my 7.2 home theater setup and an RC-64 as my center. They sound great, but are a little underpowered by my Onkyo TX-NR717 receiver. Are there any recommendations for extra power that are recommended for external amps that I can filter through the Onkyo receiver to help get more power to them? Thanks!

You get good bang for the buck with Emotiva amps. Quite a few people run them with Klipsch speakers.

With dual subs, stack'em in the corner and put on a jockstrap. Don't want EVERYTHING in the room jingling!

I could get it for around 650 from SoundDistributors.com . But I wanted to make sure it worth the price. I heard that BIC PL 200 is pretty good too. and do you know any other subs in that price range which are better than this?

I want to setup Klipsch media room. I am thinking to order the speakers from soundditributors.com or acousticsounddesign.com, are there any other authorize dealers who offer better prices. And what would be the best time to buy these speakers? I could get SW-115 for around 650 from any of these sellers.

I woukd save just a little bit and get the PB-2000. But still then its a 12" vs a 15" and i have not had the chance to hear a sw-115.
But i do have 2 BIC F12's and my friends pb-2000 beats the brakes off of mine put together.

You don't have to buy Klipsch subwoofers. If you can swing 650, I'd check out the HSU VTF 2 Mk IV. It will outperform the SW 115 in all respects for 600 shipped.

Seriously don't bother with Klipsch subs IMO. I would stick to an ID company. SVS, Rythmik, HSU, etc. I agree with Evan and spend a bit more and get the PB-2000. In fact that sub would be my exact choice in your price range but then again I am a SVS fanboy soooo....yea

Has anyone seen the new Godzilla? I was thinking of streaming via Vudu for a rainy afternoon flick. Girls are at school and wife is at work so that means I can put the hammer down and give the system a good workout hee hee.

Haven't seen it, but why not. I did see Pacific Rim the other day, and that movie was better than it had any right to be.

I'm running a pair of Emo XPA-5's to my Klipsch. They have performed flawlessly so far and are great amps for their price point.

Just finished watching Godzilla. Ya know I grew up watching him and really liked all of the older movies but thought the new one was a huge disappointment. The audio was well done but the black levels were horrible IMO. Totally ruined the movie as 95% of it was in the dark. Maybe 5-10mn total of actually seeing Godzilla. All I can say is I'm glad I rented it. I know this is subjective but a big thumbs down is my rating. Oh btw Pacific Rim kills this movie every which way possible.

Pacific Rim is a good Bluray I enjoy watching it.............. thanks for the heads up on the new Godzilla movie as I will wait for it to rent at Red Box for cheep. King Kong from 2005 with Jack Black was OK but not worth the price for a Bluray. Sometimes on movies that were shot in the dark I change the pic mode from movie or auto view to game mode to brighten things up a bit but it tends to make the colors look off.

Glad to see HSU mentioned. I love my two HSU VTF-3 MK4's. The craftsmanship of HSU subs are second to none in their price range. Seems like SVS is the only subs I ever see get recommended on this site anymore. I guess I should be more active myself promoting HSU, but understand that SVS has a strong hold on being more popular here. I'm sure it's a fine Sub as well.
