For example, I just tried to get acoustic sound design to price match frys, but they refuses because the rs42iis (that I ordered ) only the display model is available, and only if you pick it up at your local store, not available for shipping. Now if you have a frys local to you I would recommend you go there and see what they got, if open box inspect the item, and ask the manager to give you an extra 15% if it's a demo model. They won't decline.

Okay thanks for the advice & i will do that next Friday when I'm off.....But I'm trying to figure out how can i get pass the one speaker per house whole issue.

You take one person with you and say you purchasing separately. They can't say no

A week ago I tried a Definitive Technology CS8080-HD to compliment my two definitive Technology Mythos ST. I run a 11.2 setup, and all my other speakers are Klipsch. My current CC is a Klipsch RC-35.

Well, I preferred my older, a lot cheaper and unmatched Klipsch RC-35 for movie watching! the Def Tech is going back...

So, since I wanted to upgrade my center, I have decided to try a better Klipsch center (RC-64 II). Since I already like the sound of my current RC-35, I believe I'm in for a treat!

Strange that I didn't like the sound of the DefTech's biggest center. It is a powered center and I was really expecting a nice upgrade...but even running it with the large setting, after Audyssey XT32 calibration and 40 hours of breaking it in, I found the 8080HD was sounding boomy and was lacking of bass! Also, it was smaller than my RC-35 and not really heavier.

Again, I like my Klipsch RC-35...Can't wait to get my RC-64 II!

That Denon will do a fine job with the 81's and 61's. The 580.00 for the 81's is a good price as well. What are you waiting for!!

Advice i wanting to add better surrounds in my 5.1 setup & I wanted to know which is better for the job....RB81-II(Bookshelf on stand) or RF52 II(towers) ? They going to replace my Sony SS-F5000.

If this were my choice I would go with the RB-81's over the 52's.

Klipsch and SVS = purely awesome!
Klipsch and SVS...couldn't agree with you more...a winning combination! The addition of a second sub definitely is worth the investment particularly in a larger space. Not only do you realize the benefit of improved FR at multiple seating positions but the gain in headroom for my situation was incredible. Audyssey set my subs at my low limit extreme of -14.5. I now have my sub trim at -5.5 a full 9db's hot. The low end is very clean with strong visceral and tactile feedback and still plenty of headroom. My MV is typically between -20 to -10 and I have yet to approach reference. As I mentioned to Tom Riddle, my only real problem is wanting to know what dual PB13 Ultras would sound like

BTW: I was just in Tonawanda last week delivering a vintage M&K Subwoofer to a friend...wish I could have heard your setup. If you're ever in the Detroit area, let me know.

Gene - Agree on the ton of headroom. I run my at -4.5 db's and like you described significant low end producing both visceral and tactile sensation. I usually listen in the -20 to -15 range if the wife isn't home as she thinks its over the top (lol).

Small world that you were just in my hometown. If I am ever in Detroit area I may take you up on that - if you find yourself back in Tonawanda, your more than welcome to come over for a listen.

The 52's = 5.25" woofers (x2)
The 81's = 8.0" woofers (x1)

While the 52 runs duals, I think the 81 still out performs it.
