If you're serious about buying it just call them or do an online chat with them. But the chat will probably refer you to calling...

In my experience with NFM and other ID's, the most favorable pricing is obtained by calling. I utilize website information for product details/description/availability....but typically never for actual selling price.

I too would call them if you are really going to pull the trigger on it and tell them others on this forum received a price for $150.00. And you will purchase one NOW for $150.00. Can't hurt and if they say NO to the better discount ask WHY did they post it for others and not for YOU??? Post up what Customer Service says to you.

Ok so they said it is an error and don't know why it is showing up like that. He couldn't even order it over the phone for that price. Said he would call me back.

In a word, yes! I recently upgraded to the 7's and the 64 from the same speakers your have, and there is no comparison. Go to acousticsounddesign, com - great deals.

The fine print says if you live anywhere but Georgia then you only pay 149.99 Otherwise all Georgians pay the 273.00. Hmm wonder why that is?

Hey guys!

I was about to buy Polk rti12s from Frys for 250$, but the sales person was came up and told me to come to their 'back room' where they keep the higher end speakers since he would hate for me to spend 350$ on the rti12s when they have a nice Klipsh line up. He demoed the RP-260fs for me and I instantly fell in love. The sound quality compared to those tall and heavy polks was like night and day and my ears were enlightened. They were on sale for 300$ per speaker and I was amazed at how such great, great sound quality could come out of such a small frame. I gladly paid the 50$ difference in price, in fact for that sound I would have easily paid 150$ more. Hooked them up to my 5.1 surround sound when I got home and watched movies all night.

And that is how I became a Klipsh owner...

Anyways, I'm currently running the RP-260Fs as L,R, however I'm running the energy take classic still as the center speaker, which actually still sounds good tbh, but I'm looking to get the equivalent Klipsch center, which model would that be if you don't mind me asking?

Most of your work is done by the center, get the RP-450 if you can fit it.

Maybe Georgia doesnt have many Klipsch fans like other state so it is why they need to pay more, others have better discount

Yeah I was really looking at that center piece, but I've heard that it may actually be better to run a book shelf or another RP-260f as the center so that they're uniform across the board?

Also what are you guys' opinions on the RP-250s vs the RS-62 II in terms of surrounds?

Hello all,

I finally ended up replacing my KG 5.5's with some RP-280F's. I was a bit nervous about doing so but after running Audyssey and sitting down for a listen..I am very happy that I took the plunge!

I finally have a uniform sound between front stage and rear. I'm using RB-61ii and RB-51ii for rear and side surrounds and an RC-7 for my center.. I had always been bothered by the fact that the rears sounded more lively then the front but it looks like the reference ii and reference premier lines blend quite well!

I was debating replacing my RC-7 with the RP-450C for voice matching purposes but now I think I will continue listening for a bit. It sounds so good as it is.

Any opinions on my center channel dilemma?

If you can make it work, I would definitely get another 260 as your center channel. I would also go the RS-62 route for the surrounds. Take some pics of your setup and post them up
