Advice please....

Advice on which fronts to buy. Going to move rb-61's to rear and not sure to go with rf-82 ii or rf-62 ii?

Using a rc-62 for center and Svs for sub. Also not worried about space. Just care about SQ...

Thanks.

If you can swing it, the RF82ll is a much better speaker than the RF62ll, it will match your RC62ll and will make a great LCR.

Is the newer reference line voiced similar enough to my older stuff to still use my existing center?
Bump, anyone mixed the two generations in the past?

I have mixed three different Klipsch series in my system. For HT/Bluray movies use they all blended in great.....YMMV as every room has different acoustic issues. I did have to use a handheld dB meter and manually adjust (add gain) the the surrounds from what my room correction feature had them set at. My huge Cornwall's (fronts) were overpowering the center and surrounds. Some say my Yamaha "YAPO" room correction feature is not the best VS the newer Audyssey, hence me having to manual tweak my odd combo of Klipsch speakers. Everyone that has come over and watched a Bluray movie has said WOW I hear the surrounds bounce around the room and FEEL the special effects..... LFE.

I know I miss my chance but in our case black will work better plus deal what I got is not possible in walnut.
Walnut looks amazing and make already amazing speaker RF-7II even more rare.

From what I've seen in photos, I love the look of the cherry finish by itself (and probably would love the look of the walnut), but I think the copper cones look better against black. My failure to decide which I really, truly prefer is sadly one of the biggest reasons I haven't taken the RF7 plunge.

Oh I'm pretty sure I will like all 3 finishes. Cherry what people said looks better in real then on pictures darker, I'm sure i will love this one. Walnut is really nice on pictures so if in real is same it is amazing speaker in rare finish and Black like you said copper contrast is strong. Well we have traditional living room furniture and I will buy TV stand same style so I think black will look the best here, all speakers black so as AVR. Also my front heights are black so want to all match.
Well I was hook up little I said to myself if some good deal will show up why not if not I'm happy with what I have. and I really am. Even if RF-7II and RC-64 II as I'm expecting will be really nice upgrade I really can't tell anything bad about RF-82II's and RC-62II, they are amazing to my ears and eyes.

Do you have shelves or really, really tall stands?

Or do you feel comfortable placing stands on top of your front towers? I know somebody here has done it but I can't recall the name right now. In my house, though, that approach would make me *really* nervous.
