Build a shelf over the speaker and put your TV on the shelf.

That may be my only option. Ideally I want to be able to slide this beast into the tv stand. I know it's not the ideal senario for audio quality but the agreement I had with the wife was a clean look.

I have my TV sitting directly on my 450C. From what I've heard, Klipsch designed the 440C and 450C to make TV-on-top an option. Wouldn't be surprised if true, considering the size of the speaker. Obviously maybe not a good idea if your TV is abnormally heavy, but mine is just a run of the mill LCD.

Thanks Chad, thanks, well I can't say no to clearance price on that. Yes I guess I'm step by step, well I'm not sure if anytime soon but I want to see how much improve will be my front height now and I'm thinking to sell RS-52II's and add maybe RB-61II's in back top. Also looks like new Oppo 4K is behind corner so another item to add for sure. So how strong is still your idea of adding second Ultra to your system, I know you been thinking about it.

Thumb up for pinpoint mounts!!! I have them for RB-81II's and works perfect, just did really little DIY extra hole to base plate for better fitting.

I just bought a pair of the legendary RB-75's for my two channel room. I'm in the process of trying to buy a house so everything is on hold for now. Been looking for the last three months. Need that dedicated room ya know. After we do get into a new house then I'm getting a projector and screen. Thinking minimum 125". That's kinda my focus now. House, dedicated room, then projector with a big screen.

Congrats! I see you have the 6200 now. I'm sure you'll like it's new capabilities. Will you be implementing 3D sound (Atmos/DTS:X) soon? And I'm anxiously waiting for the the Oppo UHD player as well.

WOW...congrats, the 75's are definitely "legendary." I scan CL in my area fairly often hoping to find a pair for exactly what you're using them for...a two channel system. WRT to your house hunting adventure...of course a dedicated HT room is your primary objective! All kidding aside, when you move to a screen size beyond 100", a whole new dimension awaits you. You no longer talk about a "big screen" TV...it's a wonderful new and immersive experience...with 3D sound following...especially if it's contained in a dedicated theater. But a word of caution as well...be prepared to open your wallet and make a ton of decisions...OT here...but it will be a fun journey! In the meantime, keep us posted on your house hunting progress!

The cylinders are great subs...they were my first SVS subs many years ago. A few suggestions for previously owned subs...because of size and weight, usually best pricing will be found if seller is local or reasonably close.

1. AVS classifieds here...usually well taken care of.
2. SVS outlet store or periodic sales near holidays
3. Craigslist
4. eBay

Good luck with your search...

That won't be an option for me, I mounted the TV to the wall.

Looks like I'm forced to build something. I'll let everyone know how it turns out. Wish me luck.

I'm actually going to build a whole tv console. Dimensions will be roughly 80"W x 28"H x 20"D.. I'll post pics soon, I first have to build my garage workbench and get familiar with woodworking again.

1. AVS classifieds here...usually well taken care of.
2. SVS outlet store or periodic sales near holidays
3. Craigslist
4. eBay

Good luck with your search...

I have a pair of klipsch kg 5.2 from 1990 , no problem with sound , as far as I can tell .

I can not help but think speakers have gotten sooo much better and it's time to buy new or recent used ones
Maybe the jump to different speakers will be a very small jump and not worth it
There's no way to compare them side by side , my 5.2 and BestBuy speakers

I have considered bowers & wilkins speakers , too

Keep my KG5.2 or buy new ones , that's the question

Advice , please

This is just my $0.01

Audio is always a personal opinion but, I used to have some GREAT KG 5.5. They got fired and I replaced them with some B&W 683 S2. I enjoyed them for a couple years but always wanted to back to klipsch. I did and am very glad.

The B&W were not bad by any measure. But I just wanted to go back to Klipschs.
