I assume the Pros are timbre matched, and the RC-64 and RF-7 are timbre matched.

In the long run, my cost is gonna run about the same, since the price difference between the Pros and the RC/RF is about what I'll spend on a sub for the Pros, anyway. Since I'm gonna be about the same either way, I want the very best, cleanest, most accurate sound I can get.
If you are using 7800's for L and R, you should use something in the THX line for a center.

Or look at the HSU and Rythmik that is around $700 and its a heck of a sub! They will outperform Klipsch subs. Like we have mentioned before, there is nothing WRONG with klipsch sub they just don't outperform other subs that cost less.
Thanks a lot for input!

The HSU and Rythmik subs are out of option, because they don't have dealer in Europe.

Also the usual dealer Lsound.eu has recently quit operating with SVS and they don't carry their subs anymore.
Checking from Ebay, stores from UK and Germany are selling the SVS PB-2000 for 900~ish euros, that is 950~ish dollars.

So the price difference is really there.

Anyone using Klipsch architectural speakers for Atmos? If so, which ones?

Also, it would be infinitely easier for me install them right above my head, at the MLP due to the fact the attic stops there. Forward of that is the upstairs guest bedroom. Will Atmos still sound good? I can angle the tweeters forward to help with dispersion I suppose...

i have a big Center channel dilemma.

background:

I Bought a r-25c and some r-15m (2 sets) to replace some infinity tss-800 speaker.

So if i return all those speakers and keep my tss-800 and i can get the RC-64II (cost me about $220)

OR

i can return the r-15m and r-25c keep the tss-800 and get the RC-62II (saves me some money)

OR

i can keep the r-15m and return the r-25c and then buy the RC-62II (cost me about $220)

Good choice. There are absolutely plenty of folks who have the RC 64 II with non RF 7 II towers and are in love with it. However, I've heard it and do not agree with this approach. Timbre match with a front sound stage is important to me, and the RC 62 II is still a monster.

Blood has spilt on this page about this topic, so I'm glad it was avoided this time.

If $320 is a budget there si no way to get RC64II so RC62II will be great option for him.
totally agree with that lol

How does the rp-250c compare to the rc-62II?
I totally understand that, had to drop $3,000 on a new receiver just for a 4K signal lol! I don't even use the amps inside.

I am considering ordering 2-PB16 but to be honest (some will laugh) my 2 elemental design plays just as low, they play down to 18htz eich is impressive for a sub in the $1,000 range. Its only in the $1,000 range because I added different plate amps.

Well... I got the RC-62 II in today, I have to say, this is a big center channel lol, and it is beautiful and matches the other reference speakers I have... but to be honest, I went from a Polk c15, to this RC-62 II... and while it does seem it matches better and everything, I don't seem to notice much more of a difference, is there something I'm missing? I'm just confused with a speaker that is 4 times the price shouldn't there be something big I'd notice? I noticed a great difference moving from the Polk monitor 40 to the rf-82 II, but the same didn't happen with the center, not disappointed in it, but just sort of surprised, glad I have a matching set though lol... maybe I should do A-B-A-B testing

Correct, you'd use these as surrounds.

https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Refer.../dp/B0041GK5CC

You'll just about get the pair for what was the price each.

You won't notice the same level of difference with a center channel. But, more to your point, you do have proper voice match so that in and of itself is a big plus.

That said, you're at the mercy of what is written to come out of the center channel. Some movies focus just on vocals where there will be less difference, so play lots of movies.

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this so if its not please move it. I'm new to this forum and I just ordered a new Klipsch HT system, its due to get here on Monday so I'm super excited!
My living room is an open space with the dinning room and I also have stairs going down to the ground floor (not sure if that matters), the whole area is probably 13' X 32'.
Main use will be for movies, about 70% movies and 30% music, I don't tend to listen at very loud volume but that might change a bit and I guess loud is a relative thing
This is my new setup:
(2) Klipsch RF-82 II Floor Standing Speakers
(1) RC-62 II Center Speaker
(2) RS-42 II Surround Speakers
(1) SW-112 Sub-woofer

I also got the new Pioneer Elite LX-101 which I read a lot of good things about but now I'm worried that it won't be powerful enough... maybe I'm just losing it because of the anticipation but let me know what you think. Also if you have any suggestion, recommendations or question about stuff I didn't mention I'd be happy to hear them.

Thanks
Eyal
