As far as deals go, how good is the deal Klipsch is having now with the buy 2 speakers get a free sub ? I was going to get the RP-260F with the R-110SW sub. This will be my main sub with another 8" sub hooked up also.

12' x 15' room a little over 7' high.

Essentially they will be to the side but facing forward and angled down. Only option really. There is a window on the wall left of the couch.

Like your nick name excellent Russian hockey player. I believe deal is not bad. Did you try to call Sound Distributors Klipsch dealer for a qoute to compare it? I will do that before I will make any moves.

thanks all for the replies. I liked your setup @gene4ht but unfortunately don't have enough space below and the screen almost starts from there. Have to mount the speakers just above the floor trim and on top of the speakers the screen starts so not enough space.

Will try and update here if it works for me.

No thanks. I want speakers I can at least leave flush with my media console and still sound great. And they do.

Cheers!
I'm sorry to be late to the party. They need to breathe. That's why they are ported and designed that way for optimum sound. I have tight spaces in my area. I have rear passive radiators. As much as I wanted them to be more flush and out of the way, they needn't that little space behind the speakers. Here's a pic of my front area. My speakers are just an inch or 2 bigger than yours.

I'm going to be mounting, for the time being until I hit Atmos, my 140's right above my seating positions against the back wall. I have my "side surrounds" mounted on the back wall about 2 feet above and 6 feet apart. I think this will give me a good 7.2 system.

Then again, I could be blowing hot air.
