Why not just buy it from amazon...should be the same price and in stock.

Not to crap on your purchase, but is it too late to return/cancel the order?

There are better subs and more value-per-dollar subs out there than the Klipsch. If you knew this going in, then by all means go forth. If you didn't, I and plenty others on this site can help direct you to better options (Yes, even for canadian options).

Hi. You all helped me pick out the cdt 5800 ceiling speakers (4) which I should get tomorrow. I also get the new x4300h and the second r115sw tomorrow...so I want to install it all tomorrow night. I am unsure on where the ceiling speakers should be installed. My room is approx 13x14 and the couch is all the way against the back wall. I will be doing 5.2.4 atmos setup. Thanks

Isn't it awesome getting new gear! Itsmyforte on here would be the guy to ask about Klipsch speaker placement, there are lots of variables though. Good luck playing with your new toys.

Thanks...so like I said before The couch is all the way against the back wall...I can probably pull it out 2-3 feet and it would still work good....From what I am seeing I should place the rear ceiling speakers almost up against the back wall say 3 feet behind me and then the front ceiling speakers should be mounted 3 feet in front of me so the ceiling speakers will be a total of 6 feet apart? and all 4 should be in line with the front r/l mains?

Looking for some measurement help for anyone that owns a RC-62 II Klipsch center channel. I can't seem to find one to look at in person but I need the measurement from the outside of the left port to the outside of the right port. (the middle of the port so the outermost part of it) I have the dimensions for the entire unit width, but that will not answer the question. Any RC-62 II owners out there that can help me out??

Thanks.

Sooooo..........I got everything installed and rented the new Transformers and I must say that was the best sounding movie I have heard. The atmos makes a huge difference! You were right I need to find out what to rent next....any recommendations on the BEST atmos blu rays?

Can you stream atmos with netflix or amazon?

What about for games or just normal tv is there a "fake" atmos mode that utilizes the ceiling speakers?

Lastly what mode do you use when watching your blu rays?

The measurements are on Klipch's website. Dimensions: 8" H x 23.5" W x 12.5" D. I have it and it's big.

If it’s to your taste, Baby Driver 4K has a killer Atmos sound track, as does the 4K Blade Runner (good luck finding it, though).

Per my original post, I am actually looking for the measurement for the width from the far outside left port to the far outside right port. (the actual 23.5 W of the unit does not matter) Since you have the actual unit would you mind taking a quick measurement of that for me? I know it seems like a small difference but it could be the difference between keeping the custom cover I have in place in my sound wall or having to make a bigger opening for the grill cloth.

Thanks!!!

DIY, thanks for the reply as that information is really helpful. However now that I have that information it brings up one more. What is the distance from the outside speaker to speaker if you don't mind a second measurement?

Thanks a ton!

Great. Appreciate the information. That puts the woofers just about 3/4 an inch outside the grill cloth opening I have. I hope that will not be an issue. It also places the outside portion of the ports behind a piece of support on either side but I don't need to have it right up against them. I am hoping this will not affect the performance too much. Think I will probably give it a shot and order one. I assume you are happy with yours??

Yeah it's a really nice speaker I have it on my 2nd lesser used tv with a pair of rf-82 ii's. My main TV also has 2 rf-82 ii's along with a 3rd rf-82 ii I modified to lay horizontally under the tv as a center. If it weren't for my diy itch I would have just used an rc-62 ii on my main TV too. I didn't think the price difference for an rc-64 ii was worth it. FYI not sure where you're buying it from, but Fry's has is for $168

Purchased my first Klipsch speakers: 3 RP-81ii
On sale at Fry's for $249 each.
Heres a few pics of the unboxing and moving them into place.

Overall, not bad. Im really not used to the copper woofers. I might actually prefer the grills on, which is a first for me.
