LOL, never! I laugh at people who do that crap! I call it the Clown Syndrome and anyone that lets their wife do that is fricking crazy. Botox is a toxin and injecting that crap into you is borderline insane. Your better off trading in for a new model than letting that happen, like speakers! LOL jk!

Look at Bruce Jenner. One of the most celebrated athletes in the last 50 years, yet he still tries turning back the clock. He looks like sheet with all his plastic surgeries. There is no way around aging.

Luckily, I have genes working on my side. My father is 88 and my mother is 82. Neither one looks their age.
I'm 61 going on 39.
My one regret is some hearing loss. I guess that comes from 34 years of marriage...(what did you say honey, I didn't hear you).

All in jest,
Aaron

Aaron,

My Dad is 82, mom is turning 80 both still in good health. I am 13 years younger but need to get my ass back into shape, and this year, since I am a Ski Race Coach I am on the hill 2-3 days out of the week, which has helped me keep off the winter weight. Even with all the back issues, I will work through the pain to keep off the weight, otherwise it will get much worse. Thankfully hearing is still intact, and still drooling over the new C2s.

Yep getting on in age but ….still celebrating me namesakes birthday last night with another wee dram of single malt and a feast of Haggis amongst friends as we toasted Robbie Burns’s 256th.

Which reminds me that I need to call me Mom who’s still living on her own at 92. : )

On a sad note decided to relinquish my Dyns : (…. …the 1.3MKIIs … but not the 25s : ), figured I really do not need 5.1 to watch the odd Netflix.

Probably could have asked for a bit more...but I got my years from them and was time to pass them on.

Borderdog,

Yes both a Chiropractor and Physical Therapist, I find that Chiropractor is a short term fix and Physical Therapy is much better in the long term. I had dry needling done which was done several times, similar to Acupuncture. Most of my back issues where done from playing hockey in college and then jumping off huge cliffs while skiing in the back country of CO back when I was hell raiser and top it off with a lady you hit me head on because she passed out from a seizure while driving on the freeway. I can still walk/run but its not comfortable so now I walk and bike,/swim and listen to more music and relax......

I don't know about you all but I remember growing up with my dad (now 65) having an impressive stereo system with seemingly gobs of endless power to drive his KLH Super Column speakers. About a decade ago, he switched out the amp with a modern multichannel receiver and the former has been sitting on a shelf. In the meantime I have taken an interest in HiFi so during my latest visit 'home' I decided to take a closer look at it. Come to find out it is one of the top vintage integrated amps (according to eBay): the Pioneer SA-9500 MkII.

Talk about a thing of beauty!

I wonder if it can drive my Dyns? The speaker plugs are those old bi-wire-clamp kind.

They don't make them like they use to.

Edit: He still has the original sales receipt dated 1 September 1978. He paid $256 or about $1K in adjusted USD. I am seeing it used on eBay for $329 and $434. Haha.

Current HiFi: Dynaudio Focus 260 | Meridian Direct DAC | NAIM XS 2 (2013)
Past HiFi: Dynaudio Excite X16 | Dynaudio Focus 160 | Harman Kardon HK3490
Portable IEMs by Audio-Technica

Rob,

Now you're talking like a Scottish lad. Who the hell is Robert Burns? Just kidding of course.

You being Canadian, have a special affinity for liberalism and socialism.

Robert Burns: "He is regarded as a pioneer of the Romantic movement, and after his death he became a great source of inspiration to the founders of both liberalism and socialism, and a cultural icon in Scotland and among the Scottish Diaspora around the world."

Also the ones from Canada, not sure but Aaron can answer this, I didn't know they made the Special 25s in Rosewood?

I called and talked to the Ebay lister yesterday. He said the buyer had some financial difficulties in paying.
