My opinion is: setup your room with gear that'll sound it's best in that room even if it's not ur flagship products. Then at least people will walk out and say that room was fantastic I have to hear ____!! And make these people go see the local dealers. And at least if someone asked about the larger speakers you have in the room not being used you can say, we tried them but we couldn't optimize them in this space so we felt this was gonna show you a truer representation of what to expect, but these play bigger and deeper.... Blah blah blah

Dynaudio made a strong showing at Axpona this year. The C2, C4, Evidence Platinum, C1, and focus could all be heard in one day. All were marvelous except the C1/Simaudio setup. It suffered from poor presentation, setup, and room acoustics. A C1 with no bass? They seemed to be wired out of phase. I would have hoped someone would have noticed it.......... The Platinum was driven by Levinson. The C2 was driven by Naim. The C4 by Plinius. Fantastic. A Dynaudio lovers candy store.

They had a strong showing, but it is very difficult to get a hotel room to sound right, the day I went into the C1 room it sounded ok because they where playing decent good demo music at the time. I have had Plinius and Sim on my Dynaudio before and I am not a fan of either because the presentation to my ears seemed way to flat. Hopefully when you heard the C2s they were not playing recorded live from a Church music through them as it wasn't a good representation of what that speaker can do, I should know I have owned them for many years and just upgraded from the originals to the Platinums. Evidence room was nice, they actually played well in such a smaller room, but I though the XD room was too small and it would have been better suited for the XD200.
