For pushing $100K it has to be phenomenal!

But somewhere I can hear Jaxwired salivating

I wonder if he's tempted to move the Fact.12s out of the way for a Raidho audition.

And for $30K, the U300 is up there with his Devialet unit. Would love a Aavik vs. Devialet shootout!

I believe Rhett has had one and he's getting the Aavik.

Speaking of Jax, he was in Chicago and he did post some pix on AudioShark.........

Yeah that U-300 will make the Dynaudio sing as well. Thats why my KW-500 hasn't been upgraded, I have tried much more expensive rivals and the combo of Musical Fidelity and Dynaudio just works well, I saw the combo many years ago at the CES show and I haven't looked back. The Aavik combo Int. Amp and Dac is sure a killer combo. I have heard the Devialet as well, hard to compare unless they are in the same room.

Jax has already stated on another forum the Ho's just don't do it for him. And that was with the D3's.

Rhett currently has the Devialet on loan (not sure which model) but he told me he loves and hates it. He said some songs are fantastic and others far from it. He never mentioned if the clarity is so much better that he is hearing a low quality recording.

The C1 is one of the ugliest speakers around. What were they thinking when they designed this speaker?

lulimet - I have to agree the C1 is not the prettiest design. I've always said it and I think we are in the minority. But the looks didn't stop me from buying a pair then later the C1 sig's.

The C1s have a distinct presence about them; they make a statement in your living room without being too avant-garde. They are unique and I like them as a contrast to the boxes you typically find.

Man. I have never seen 3x pair of 260s on Audiogon before...maybe they are all buying MB-2.5s... :P

Black Ash for $2995!

Rosewood for $3200

Walnut for $3750

(Feel sorry for that last guy who put his on first!)

Not affiliated with any sellers.

Well I would snag a pair at those prices! I think the 260 are more of a full body speaker than the 2.5 which I like, plus I like the workmanship of the Dynaudio better on the Focus line verses the Scansonics. Now the Raidho line the workmanship is dead equal as far as looks fit and finish. Plus I am sure you can talk those people down a few hundred as well.

OK, these are for you! The first one will definitely be a conversation piece and hopefully will have great sounding Tas, and be warm to the touch!

Last I saw the C1 Platinum was $9500 plus stands. But that big baffle does serves a purpose. It cuts the vibrations from the driver way down. Attached is what I think is pretty but extra pricy (29k with optional all black stands).

I'm curious now as to what your actual setup looks like with the partial pictures. That finish is just gorgeous btw!

So my daughter plays the clarinet and today she was doing a thing where she was playing a cd and she was playing the solo clarinet as it was playing on the cd. It was hard to tell the difference between the two when my daughter hit the notes correct. She's been playing long enough to get most of the notes correct so it was cool hearing how accurate the timbre from the recording matched my daughters playing.

Dynaudio Focus 260s, Focus 210C, DM 2/6, Hsu VTF2 MK4, Oppo BDP-103,
NaimUniti 2, Marantz SR7007, 55" Panasonic Plasma

Thats because Dynaudio are accurate, and we can't help it that Rhett and George lost their way! lol

Have you auditioned the Excite X14? You should also consider the Scansonic MB-1, Focus XD 200, PMC Twenty 21/22, Dali Epicon 2.
Hi,
Someone some listening experience with the new audiovector sr1?
