GT: Using the Oppo 105D with good success with streaming all my music, just curious if the new Aries Mini would do well for a Dac?

No idea. It's not even for sale. But it appears to pack a punch for $500!

Current HiFi: Dynaudio Focus 260 | Meridian Direct DAC | NAIM SuperNait 2
Past HiFi: Dynaudio Excite X16 | Dynaudio Focus 160 | Harman Kardon HK3490 | NAIM XS2 (70wpc version)
Portable: IM70 IEMs by Audio-Technica

Did they up the price as it stated on the web site you posted $399? Regardless at either price it looks appealing, I have just had some super expensive Dacs and the $500-$2000 range there are marginal improvements, but when you move up the food chain the improvements are so marginal it makes most products not worth it.

I plan on possibly getting one to use with my XEO 3. If I like it then I may try a SN2 with it after trading in my U2.
