Congratulations, Zoysiaman!
F208's measurements speak for themselves: These are amazing speakers. And excellent value for money as well.
They look designwise great in your room, too.
Thumbs up for JS as well for contributing to more people exploring the amazing Revel speakers.

Sadly I couldn't set them up. I'm headed on vacation so I'll have to wait 8 days. Fortunately I'll have something to look forward to on the drive home.

I know the saying, Happy Wife Happy Life. What's the saying for this???

She was NOT excited about the size of them. I probably should have gone with the 206's. But I suppose it will be worth it when those bad boys start singing.

Side note, shout out to John for a great buying experience and handling daily texts and calls from me. The shipping delay was a nightmare but he was a lifesaver through the whole process. I'd certainly recommend him. Thanks JS
She does not look happy!

Some Revel in-walls would work nicely. Don't know if you already know this, but Revel double blind tests their in-walls against other manufacturer's box speakers. Kevin Voecks talks about it here (http://hometheaterhifi.com/volume_11...-4-2004.html):

Well, the first question with the in-walls is: is it possible to make in-walls that sound good enough that we want to call them Revels? And fortunately everyone agreed that we just wouldn't make them if they didn't sound like Revels. We were able to determine that yes, it is indeed possible. You can really get everything except depth of image with the in-walls, so that's a win! We had to do a lot of research because no one has really taken a rigorous approach towards in-walls. We had to learn how we could deal with the limitations and in some cases advantages that exist with in-walls. You know where the boundary is which is one huge advantage with in-walls, because they're in this plane. We've learned that we can outperform most free-standing loudspeakers in a double blind listening test. We've literally put big sections of wall on our pneumatic speaker mover with our in-walls installed versus free-standing loudspeakers. The real reason is that our design goal is to match the timbre of Revel free-standing loudspeakers, and that's what we've achieved very closely. It's only the secondary reason of comparing them against other people's free-standing speakers.

Yes, I casually looked at their offerings. For now that's all I'm doing, I still have to buy a new house lol. I've also casually looked at what JBL has to offer. Their prices are very attrictive, any thoughts on how the JBL lineup might compare to Revel?

Unless you are talking about the JBL SCL3s or 4s (which are amazing, but pricey at $3K each), most the of JBL in-walls are good but not in the same league as the Revel stuff. I don't think any of the JBL designs have gone through the same rigorous double blind testing routines as the Revels.
