Hi
I am planning to go with the B&W FPM5 to go with my Pioneer Plasma.
The other Flat Panel Speakers that I auditioned were

Definitive Technologies _ MYTHOS
Paradigm _ Cinema 330
ENERGY _ FPS

I picked the B&W FPM 5 series after listening to all of the above.

Please give your comments if I made the right choice.

your feedback is greatly appreciated.

thanks,
cai.

From what I've read, you've picked one of the best on-wall speakers out there on the market (currently). The other choices you listed, however, are much cheaper. I would have listened to more price-comparable speakers before purchasing, but that's me (Totem Tribe, Triad Bronze LCR, Artcoustic, ML Fresco, KEF ACE 9000, Magnepan MC1, Sequence Strata, NHT L5 etc.). Regardless, the FPMs are one of the top on-wall models available, SQ-wise.

Here's one of the very few reviews I've found of on-walls:

That review seems to indicate that audio performance might be better if the speakers are not actually wall mounted. I just picked up two FPM5s for front L/R and an FPM6 for center. Should I take a serious look at nount wall mounting them next to the plasma?
