I'm running the following in my setup:

Receiver- Pioneer SC-63 Elite

Fronts- B&W 685 S2

Center- B&W HTM62 S2

Rears- Klipsch S-20's

Sub- Energy Power 12

Using all Audioquest wiring with Sanus steel series speaker stands. Definitely need to upgrade my rears and sub at some point but being on a budget limits me a little right now.
Congrats! The series 2 are quite good based on feedback from those who's input I value.

Very nice setup. If it were me I would probably upgrade the subwoofer first before the surrounds (unless you listen to multi-channel music). The S2 series is very nice. Enjoy!

Someone tell the neighbors, there is going to be some noise tonight!!

Got the first parts of my home theater upgrade.

Emotiva XPA-5 and B&W CM5 speakers.

CMC2 center channel should be here next week. Here is a look at the temp setup so far. This weekend I am going to make some biwire cables and configure everything just perfect. So far the new system sounds great!.

I noticed you did not put covers on the tweeter and I'm not talking the big one.

I don't have kids or mammals as pets so I can let the pretty speakers shine through.

Not sure which big tweeter needs covering though?!?

I've seen so many BW's speaker's that adults and kids polk in them and it don't take much to break them.

Very nice! The CM5s are great speakers and you will have an excellent front sound stage with the CMC2. Enjoy!

wow, I'm sorry but that's pretty snarky to a poster that's not only excited about their new hardware, but has made a good choice in which direction they went, we don't all have unlimited budgets.

(I knew I shouldn't have waded into a speaker thread...)

Congrats and enjoy your new system. I set up a similar bookshelf sized 600 series system for my Mom about 10 years ago and it still puts a smile on my face when we watch movies over there. I would have saved $$ on the audioquest overpriced wiring and bought the larger HTM 61 center channel. Bigger is better!
