But even though I don't like the brightness of the Klipsch some times, I like their dark full body magnetic grills. I also like the look of the Grands.
Has anyone thought of how the Grands stack up the similar priced fronts? Like the SVS Ultra series?
I could not find a direct vs to vs.
Here's a couple links from another site.
Both have good review!
Both are very good.
I personally went with the aperion Verus Grand for the finish and the way they look (for space wise).
Also after talking to my Audio buddy, who is a sound Engineer, He did prefer them.
That said, he also know that I have 2 SVS PB Ultra subs (so was he's decision about the speaker only or for my set-up?).
So He might have look at mid/high advantage.
I personally think the aperion have an advantage on the upper end, but if you do not have solid sub, the SVS Ultra might serve you better since they are better than aperion (in the lower end) in my honest opinion.
I have supported both company (and a few more, every chance I got).
In these forums, the member should come first.
Read the reviews about both and decide for yourself!
I did for 2 months and settle on the aperion, but your choice might be different.
It is all, about personal preference.
Preference is HARD to please, sometime the Best Engineer piece of equipment (speakers/amps) is not what someone like.
For example, I use to listen movies at 5Db (Bass) over reference and now settle at +1, and actualy prefer it that way.
