A pair of these IL60s and a 36C have been the heart and soul of my HT for many years. I have no reason to doubt that, at age 62, these have become my "keepers". I listen to mostly acoustic jazz and classical music. They have never disappointed me. -3dB @ 25Hz doesn't hurt when it comes to explosions and pipe organs, either. Honestly though, if I had it to do over again I would get the 40s and do without the powered woofers. There's a lot of complicated stuff going on in these towers. Better to just have a big sub in the corner methinks.
Their predecessors, Infinity Overture 3s,
sit in my living room in a stereo only setup. Different but excellent in their own way. And one of the most beautiful speakers Infinity ever made.
