I need a pair of those!

I like how Stereophile's bench measurements aren't "flat" but then the reviewer's in-room measurements are reasonably flat. And the lab dude says, huh? essentially and isn't going to argue with that.

Aye - These comments were also right on IMO:

The review samples were in a Piano Black that would likely meet with Steinway's approval.
I've said it before, and it's worth repeating: A reviewer can tell you only how a speaker will perform in the bass in his or her room—never in your room.


I have the piano black and they are absolutely a stunning piece of beautiful furniture.
IMO - the room, not the speakers determines how good the bass will sound for any speaker.

I'm thinking of adding a Waltz to be the back center. Should I orient it horizontally or vertically for widest sound dispersal?
